Thank you for that link, etoile de mer... I look forward to reading it!Wow, that's wonderful to hear! One can only hope the newer blend will behave more like yours! I have limited experience only having three, all purchased last spring.
Here's a link to an older thread devoted to CSGM quality issues:

Obviously some silk Tyger Tyger scarves have arrived in stores (Europe), my SA invited me to have a look...
How exciting! Please update us with your thoughts when you see them.
I was going to venture into cashmere this season but I think you guys convinced me to stay with silk for now.
I agree. I'm STILL waiting for my CSGM to come back from repair.... it's been MONTHS!![]()

Wow, that's fast! I was thinking that we won't be seeing any fall scarves at my store until September if we're lucky. Last year they were available online by August. Please keep us posted.Obviously some silk Tyger Tyger scarves have arrived in stores (Europe), my SA invited me to have a look...
What? Tell me that it's not true, S'Mom!
Now back to topic ~ sissy, thanks for the pic of the bow ties even though they aren't for me.![]()
S'Mom... that entire story is just terrible! I will definitely take your advice when I visit my Hermès boutique next fall. The Hubster will be with me (he has a terrific eye when it comes to handbags and Hermès scarves, so I rely on him!) but he's simply going to have to wait patiently while I go over every square inch of whatever I find! It's totally true! I purchased a shawl late last year and finally took it for a spin in January when I noticed about an 1" section of the rolled hem had not been caught up and was laying flat. I brought it in and left with them at the end of January.
I was called last month by an SA who told me it was ready for pick up and that I'd be charged $80.00 for the repair (this surprised me as it wasn't something I'd done but ....). I went in the next day to pick it up and it hadn't been repaired at all. In fact, it hadn't even been sent out!
So, I was told it would be "expedited" and done at no-charge but I've already been waiting for the dang thing since the end of January.
I think we all need to do a little bit of examining of our shawls and scarves before we take out the credit card....make sure to get one in perfect condition!
Back to topic but thank you for letting me rant a little.....LOL!!!!
