Hi Doves 75!

I was lucky to grab this jewel, as the SA in my boutique is so...unhelpful.They haven't ordered any "tygers"because "they didn't sell well last year"..???.Sigh!:cloud9:

So I am so glad "Hippo" is such a wonder ,and ...I stay glued to the H-site...

I flip back and forth H.com these days. A lot of the scarfs are listed already and they offer free shipping too, But I always like to buy them in store. The more reason to get out of the house and meet my SA [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Omg this is stunning with your coloring! Wow!
Thank you rainneday...still deciding on whether to keep this one or not! I do love the design and CW, there are just too many options this season :smile1:

I am enjoying seeing this CW in pics, it looks so different depending on which corner is worn in front. It is just so pretty! I like your Hapi too, is it Blue Paradise?
Thank you again rainneday...as you know this design is amazing and truly many scarves in one! I did succumb to the Hapi at the same time, the Blue Paradise really looked perfect with this CW of Tyger. I'm afraid the Hapi 3 bracelets are a new obsession of mine lol!!

Hello...ladies and gents... I just want to share my fall 2015 scarf. I went into the store and my nice SA pulled out this scarf. I'm not sure if another fellow TPFer already post the same CW....but this color is so soft and pretty [emoji4][emoji4]

Oh my, this is gorgeous doves75, this design is truly amazing and you found the perfect CW to showcase the design in my opinion!

Bova, thank you so much for sharing these beautiful mod pictures! You wear this tone of blue really, really well and it looks spectacular with your hair and skin coloring. There is no doubt the color is fabulous on you, but I completely understand with you regarding the single color/no design part. I am exactly the same and prefer the designs that encompass the whole scarf. I think that is what is also throwing me a bit too~a lot of a single color. On the other side, I find this design so interesting I just have to have one! I think it also really helps that each cw has a contrast hem. That makes such a huge difference when there is wider border/dead space. Personally, I 100% love your blue Paddock on you! You are such a creative and talented knotter and I know you will come up with more and more ways to wear it...you have shown so many great ideas here! You will think I am crazy, but I tried and loved the orange cw. Now this is waaaay out of my normal! ha! I don't think I can remember ever having such a tough time making a scarf decision. The other one I liked was the multi colored. The colors just pop off the scarf to me and that is what I love...more my normal, you know! It is just the greyish background that is not typical for me. So, in a nutshell, I like the colorful background and also a colorful design...and this is where I must think out of my norm for this scarf! Ha! Sorry for my ramblings, but I think you and I are thinking similar thoughts!:hugs:Please let me know what you decide, dear!

Vitamina, I think you perfectly capture what many of us are feeling about paddock and your concise explanation helps.

I am trying to think of how to use the "negatives" as positives. Thus I am thinking red or prune might work. Red because I'm looking for something almost solid red to go with a black and white print coat and dress set and the empty border might do the trick. Bova's comment about wearing the prune with black and it being too dark struck home. I'm thinking that perhaps prune would be better with lighter colors such as my medium beige coat and dress set to bring them into more fall colors. I'm going to try those two options, keeping in mind that when I buy a scarf I really want it to work with many of my outfits and not just one. I'll let you know what I finally decide and I can't wait to see your choice.

Thank you so much for your insightful comments dearest Vitamina, I agree with you on all of your points/concerns. The design is so captivating and the only reason I even considered it is because of the contrast hem, it really does make a difference. I played around with many different tying techniques last night to try and make a final decision, but still leaving the tag attached at this point! I also tried the multi colored one and thought that would be the one I would pick, but I had the same problem with the background color washing me out so to speak.

I can 100% see where the orange background would look amazing on you. It has enough saturated color that we like and enough of the varying colors in the design itself. Please keep me posted on what you decide as well, and I will continue to mull this one over all weekend I suppose!! :hugs:

Gotta love an SA who won't lie to you! Mine has actually made raspberry noises to make the point that it's Just. Not. Working.
Well, catsinthebag and BBC, I'm not too far from you. We could form a super-enabling club (as if this forum weren't enough!!) and shop together. Just kidding. I do value honesty on this slippery slope, since I don't own a bank....:laugh::laugh:

Ahhhhh! This is really really beautiful. This design is quickly sucking me in and those colors are unique and beautiful. Looking forward to modeling pics! This is my first real season and I'm astounded!

I got this :).
I'm supposed to be on Ban Island, with the LV rampage I committed throughout the month of June. But Les Confessions is way too fun not to wrap around my neck! Just ordered in cw13. Can't wait!
(And with complementary shipping on H.com and the price reduction, it's really a treat! :yahoo:
:happydance::happydance::happydance:
And now I understand that we can be refunded the price difference for H purchases made in June.
Can can someone say CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!

Bova, did you try on the black and white paddock? Still a large border of solid color, but quite striking, as Ivy1026 has demonstrated! I don't remember if you have many black/white options - could be wonderful on you....

Just bought this Hippopolis myself! The colorway is beautiful, and the design is really worthy of close examination. There are dozens of tiny horses populating this cityscape, doing amusing things--having a photograph taken, reading a book, playing with balls and balloons and on slides--and here and there are strange little human figures, and there's a smiley face in a pediment over a doorway. Seriously adorable. The artist was having such a good time! :D

Thank you momasaurus...I did not try the black and white because I hesitate to wear the white background so close to my face...not brave enough to wash my scarves yet. I know that CW would be striking on many, but alas not for me. :smile1:
