Only the label - it was always a bit more that 65% cashmere, more between 67-68%, so now they are rounding up rather than down.

Whether this is true or not, I do not know. Seems plausible, why else would he say that? I guess the "higher percentage" is a good justification for the price increase...

I was told this as well: no change in the GM composition or fabrication, just a change in the label.

Akin to the revision made to the measurement listing of the Bolide a few years ago, when they renamed the 37 the 35 - same bag size, different measurement technique.

Do those of you who are more experienced with the CSGM format agree that the content of the fabric has not changed? There are some designs from older patterns that might interest me but I was afraid to consider them if the quality wasn't as good. Based on the statement about I was thinking I would have to sift out if something was a new cw from this season or old. But if the fabric really is the same I guess it doesn't matter. Very confusing.

The SM at my boutique said it is the same. I have yet to see any of the new GMs IRL to compare, but I would trust my SM over my own eyes.:p

Same here, the older designs just seem more H to me.
I do like a number of the 90s this season, still not sure if any of the GMs will work for me, but there is always something to go on the wish list, so it's not like my wallet will be neglected this season!

Julian.f, thank you so very much for taking the time to photograph your book and sharing it with all of us here! It is such a big help to see designs not yet posted to the website and to see the CSGM size of some of the designs! I didn't even realize that Collections Imperiales has also been issued in a 140cm silk twill! Yay!! :smile1:

Monceau, my SA distinctly told me that H increased the cashmere content by 5%, so something is off ~ either what she is being told or what she is telling me.
