Thank you!scarf, great pics and major congrats on your first CSGM ~ you picked a stunning design in a great CW. Major congrats!!!![]()
Yes, they did Pocketbook Pup, and had I not been otherwise occupied, they might have left the building with me![]()
Oh thank you! My SA mentioned they were getting a shipment this week. I'll be in town next Saturday and will swing by.
I saw it today and it totally surprised me. From the pictures, I was sure that 01 was my CW, and 03 was just gorgeous as art, but not for my coloring. WRONG!! I am going to get this and be your twin.Yes. Boston store.
Oh Bova, this is perfect for you!! Congrats!Just back from moving my DD back from the west coast this week. We made a quick overnight stop in Las Vegas...dangerous H territory! Was able to pick up this Tyger Tyger 90cm scarf...loving the jewel toned colors on this! Also just picked up Paddock in the blue colorway at my local Boston boutique this week. I promise to post a picture later on today!
Thank you to all for posting such enabling pictures of this FW season. It is so helpful, only hoping I can return the favor!
I love this story!! And I love della cavalleria. The red/orange/purple 90 with blue accents from last year (?) continues to haunt me, but no one likes it on me. JUST TODAY, I tried one on again. My SA just shook her head.PbP, love the CW4 Cd'E also!I am so blown away by the orange tones I see this season. Normally, orange is so tricky for me, but this season it is wonderful!! Yay!
Congrats on your Paperoles too! It is so pretty!
Thank you vitamina. I always admire your classic style. Although our colors sometimes differ, I think this cw will work for almost everyone. The pop of orange with the blue and green is so nice. I love the borders on the Della cavalleria.
The DC will always be special to me for the same reason as paperloles. At the museum last spring. I was wearing the Della cavalleria all folded and tied so you couldn't tell the pattern well. The curator showed me a book from the 17th century and it was the della cavalleria! I opened my scarf and showed her and we both welled up with tears in our eyes.
BACK TO TOPIC!! sorry. :back2topic:

This is FABULOUS!!! Look how it goes with everything! It's very similar to the 90 that Bova and I (and others?) have from spring. You must go somewhere cold right away!!My first CSGM: Cavalier du Caucas in CW 12 noir/bleu/vert.
In winter I wear a lot of black and my 3 most frequently worn coats are BLACK.
Several people asked for some mod shots, but it is shorts weather here, so I just styled the shawl in various ways. One thing I love is how different colors and parts of the design are highlighted depending on how it is tied. Hope this is not too many photos, but I love seeing as many as possible..
Last 2 pix are with a beautiful red cashmere coat, a hand-me-down from my MIL.
Unfortunately, I can only a few times a year due to our mild climate.
Enjoy!
Oh, Ivy, this is VERY CUTE in black and white!
Hi Vitamina, I am just uploading some photos onto my laptop now. I too am drawn to this design for many of the reasons already mentioned on this thread...that kind of retro/current look simultaneously. The design itself is actually a bit out of my comfort zone. As you know, I often pick designs with a lot of all over pattern, often quite "busy". Paddock shows a lot of a single color so it is taking a bit of time for me to get used to the look.
Having said all of that, I believe I tried most, if not all, of the CW's. I went in thinking I would choose the pink background, but the pink was just a bit too light for my coloring. I loved the burgundy, but alas too dark on me. The blue had all my usual saturated colors that I am drawn to, along with some black which I always gravitate towards! Let me know what you think...too much blue on me??

Thank you momasaurus...is there one in your future I wonder???Oh Bova, this is perfect for you!! Congrats!
Thank you so much cavallaBova, love both of your choices! Such beautiful colors!
Bova - I actually think I am going to stretch my budget and get the Tyger shawl in 03. It is so beautiful! I am *trying* to cut down on buying 90s, as I have --- ahem --- a few already. But yours was the CW I played with today. Great colors! That would be the one for me....This is so elegant ivy1026, fabulous choice!
