Modeling pics of the Jaune cw of Galop Chromatique. Not the best at tying scarves, but I tried to get a few different folds to show that it can look more brown/caramel or more lime and yellow. Hope this helps, and sorry about the purple tshirt as a background...not the best outfit to use with this scarf.

Beautiful! I love the second to last one with the lime and citron.

ouija board, your Galop is galloping into my heart! I LOVE the ways that you tie it and paired with your magenta top, it is simply gorgeous! I have to go back and take another look! Edited to add: Your second picture paired with your top is perfect because it pics up that beautiful plum/purple/magenta section of Galop!

Wow, ouija board, I'm glad I ditched my version of GC b/c it certainly didn't do for me what yours is doing for you!

I found galap chromatique hard to wear. I got a cw which had a good shade of pink which shaded into taupe. SA said scarf looked good (out of several tried on). When I got home, I was unable to get it to fall the same way. Instead some unflattering taupe-y yellow showed up that I couldn't get offset by the pink.
Thank you Eagle, I guess that if I do go ahead with a colorway of this print I better get one which I am drawn to in all the color shades of the pattern. I completely understand what you mean. Sometimes the scarves we think will show off the "best part" turn out to hide/loose the area we really want to show off!!! Thank you for shedding some insight on this!!!

Oh I think the purple actually really works with this coloway. I think I like how you tied it in the first picture the best. It really is a great print. I am eyeing the green blue pink version and I think it might just work keeping in mind what Eagle mentioned above and from seeing how modern and fresh this print is on you and how you have worn this. Thank you so much!

WOW, I did not realize how neon purple my shirt appears in the photos! It's actually a soft magenta. Thanks, Lovely, Maedi, Ladybaga, Eagle, and Glamourbag! The scarf actually has absolutely no purple colors/tones in it...some of the khaki/tan stripes came out mauve thanks to my iPhone camera. For GC, I definitely prefer the monochromatic cws rather than the more color blocked ones. I did get the etoupe/anthracite/noir GC as well, in hopes that I might actually wear it rather than just display it, but the Jaune one is definitely the eye catching one. If I were skinny enough to wear a scarf as a top, I'd totally use this one! Now, anxiously awaiting the GC mousseline stole...

Galop Chromatique cw 15 Jaune vif/Rouille/Vert vif

I absolutely love the colors on this scarf. It goes from a cool lime green/chartreuse to lemon and marigold to tan and rich browns. And the white contrast hem..I'm a sucker for contrast hems :D

Stunning!

Hi, just wanted to share some pics of my new cash PM (90cm), Annie Faivre's La Charmante aux Animaux CW17 Naturel/Bois de Rose/Vert. I just fell in love with the details, colors, & lavender fringe on this scarf.

Congrats! You were very lucky to score this beautiful pastel cw, I saw that scarf last year but in bright orange-black and yellow-white cws; they weren't much appealing.

Offhand, I don't know the story behind Charmante au Animaux but until you posted it, jamberry, I never noticed the medieval-style detailing blending multiple exotic, mysterious cultures. So charming!

This is very pretty and also a wonderful neutral version for this design. Congrats jamberry.

Thank you, eagle! I'm embarrassed to say I didn't even realize it was Annie Faivre's design till I took a closer look at home.

As always, thank you, lanit! Means a lot to me:smile1:

VigeeleBrun, thank you. It does feel delicate, can't wait to wear it.

Ooh! Thanks for the alert! It looks lovely. I'm not generally a dip dye girl, but there are some lovely colorways and some of them show nice details of the design....:p
Hi! Late to the party here, but which is which in these color ways? I am looking for one of these Brazils.. but not sure which color. My local store has 02 and 05... wanted to see them first before I get in the car to drive! TIA!
