Hi, anyone can help me where to find the date code. Any picture to share. I did ask my SA abt it and she told me that its not necessary to have as long you have the certificate or receipt, that will prove the authenticy. Any advice. TIA

That's probably because the SA didn't know where the date code was located smh.
Check the inside pockets. It should be embossed in the fabric. I sold my Estrela so I have forgotten the exact location but its in there :)

Glad to have found this Club! :loveeyes: my hubby also bought me this gorgeous Estrela mm last May of this year as a wedding anniv gift and this too is my first LV and I am so loving it so much! The details, the alcantara linings, the shiny golden brass, the option to wear it cross body becoz of the extra strap and the more you use it, it gets softer and lovelier as she slowly gets patina. Just be careful with the vachetta leather below, don't wear blue jeans coz its going to stain, mine did :nogood:, but thanks to my daughters eraser it's now gone :yahoo:

I previously purchased from a consignment store an estrela mm but thought it was way too big, I returned. I was so disappointed because I really liked the style. Later I discovered after seeing an MM at the LV store, that the bag I'd gotten was really a GM, and was labeled incorrectly as an MM. Which explains why it was huge! I just found another pre-loved just over 1 month old, and Lee authenticated it. I'm happy to have finally gotten this bag and this one isn't too big! :D

You have to try them on.
The Estrella felt comfortable for me on the shoulder or crossbody. The bottom is not too wide, it sits just right on me.
The Retiro was too low for me on the shoulder, sticked out from the body too much, no crossbody option and I do not hold my bags by hand...
So I chose the Estrella.
Good luck, both are pretty and unique.

It took a long time to decide for me too ! I tried both on at the LV Store, and also chose Estrela GM over the Retiro GM because even the shorter straps of Estrela are long enough to carry on the shoulder, and it does sit lower. Loving my Estrela :D

I am glad you do! I am surprised this bag is not more popular.
I tried the whole store many times before I chose it, it was my first LV.
I am trying to get over worrying about the vachetta and enjoy it. I know there might be color transfers from my dark jeans and trying to decide if I should use some products to protect it, like LMB, or just leave it alone.

I worried too, and did not use my Estrela for 2 months. Then decided to spray some Raingard Protector and took her out. I started carrying her and just love her ! I do wonder also why this bag is not more popular. :tup:
