I mostly wear my Favorite as a shoulder bag. I wear both Eva and Favorite as shoulder bags with the short chain sometimes. My main reason to like the Eva as a travel bag is the zipper and the crossbody strap. I have used the strap from the Eva a time or two on the Favorite to make it more comfortable as a crossbody, but mostly I just use the strap that came with it and wear it shoulder style. I love that LV is so customizable and everyone can do their own thing with various straps, chains, charms, etc.

Congrats! Looks beautiful! I predict you are going to love it! It took a bit of getting used to the long strap, but once I did I think it's the perfect length for a crossbody. As a matter of fact...I loved it so much I got one in all three prints! Definitely are some of my most used bags!

you are right, and I feel you and I have the best of the both world. Especially it is so hard to find an Eva in good condition now.

Yes! I am so glad I have everything that I currently have in my collection. Many of my items are discontinued and I would have been so sad to have missed out. It seems like some of the more popular items are so difficult to find in the pre-loved market both in good condition AND at reasonable prices. Even the items that aren't discontinued (yet) are so very elusive right now. I had to stalk the website for months to get some of the most recent purchases and counted myself to be very lucky to get them.

Since the bag is discontinued, if i decide to change the plate, d rings etc later on, will i still be able to do that?

I'm thinking of doing it now, anyone know the prices? I had my DE eva since 2013 and used it quite a bit, which parts can be replaced on it to keep it looking new for longer :(

I replaced the plate last year for $30 and pretty sure u still can! Hope that helps!

I went to check prices today. The plate is 38$ Cad, which isn't bad and D rings are 38 CAD too but the other parts are more expensive.
Zipper tab: 78$
Right Gullet was like 200 something
I think leather under plate was 150?

The SA says i shouldn't change anything yet and repairs should be able to be made for a while since Eva is a popular bag. Hmm don't know if i should just replace the plate and D ring now (my D ring is faded from gold to silver) or should i wait

I would do the D ring and the plate now. Those prices aren't too bad for Canada. I paid $30 USD for the plate. Why take a chance on them increasing the prices1
