From this collection the sizes are 30 and up, so I've been told by CA. You can pre-order now.

I prefer the size 25 but that's from the old collection (colors are different) and availability depends on the store.

I also WANT a p9 but the pricing...... and it's relatively new. I don't know how the p9 will fare years from now. Will they be permanent at LV? Be the star at LV? Fetch good resale price? I grew up with LV monogram starting from my grandmother, I cannot justify a speedy at this price even if I agree with the new quality.

The colors for one isn't Hermes colors. I feel these LV colors are more raw, more bold, and more for men. So I'm stuck here. If I were in high up corporate, I'd price the p9 at around $6000-$7000, that to me is more reasonable, and will carve out a bigger client base for LV.

Just my honest 2 cents.

I think the problem is that they made it sound very unattainable at first and hence priced to reinforce that impression, but it’s clearly not getting the traction that an IT bag would have - as mentioned elsewhere in TPF my SA offered every color and every size to me when I was instore in December and I’m no longer a VIC (or even close, only spent S$800 last year). But now that the price is set there’s no way to go but up. I think Pharrell is trying very hard to make fetch a thing but I barely see the P9 anywhere. Now that I have one I can see the quality and attention to details of the bag, but I wouldn’t have pulled the trigger at full retail price TBH.

Yeah... the price is honestly what's holding me back because it's a bit of a mental disconnect for me to see a $9K+ bag and LV go together when most of their bags are usually $2K-5K. But I do agree that if they had priced it at $6K-7K, then I'd probably have bought one, if not two already, haha. And I don't mind too much about the resale value as IMHO only Hermes truly holds their value so if I do buy bags that aren't Hermes QBs, then it's just for fun or collecting.

According to my CA, it is aged/darkened, but not treated. I mentioned possibility of taking mine out in snow and he said not to that it would spot like traditional vachetta.

I’m definitely in agreement that the price is out of this world for LV. It makes one seem crazy to buy one 😂. I’m definitely that girl. I am not a Birken or Kelly fan as they are just not my style, so though I do own many Hermes pieces I never carry them. I am too casual for the classic Kelly or Birken look and find them a tad fussy to use. Plus I don’t need $10,000 worth of plates and cups from Hermes 😂. The game turns me off on Hermes. Though I do like my herbags and absolutely adore the oran sandal!!
I honestly feel like the P9 is a piece of history but like grande latte said is it a permanent piece? Will they run through every color under the sun?
I do know they are not an easily attainable bag. I’m shocked to hear that despair was offered every color in every size in December. You are very lucky if you are being offered these bags so easily and I’m jealous 😂
I know folks still waiting on their original orders for the turquoise and magenta in size 25. The turquoise was difficult to obtain for me and I know alot of people wanted the color and couldn’t get it especially in the 25. I was informed they are limited in supply. I bought my 40 P9 in classic brown monogram which was easier to get but they haven’t released the brown again, as far as I know. She is understated for what she is, she looks like any other 40 to the untrained eye 😉.
I guess we shall see how it shapes up for the P9 in the next couple years. I use mine as they were not purchased to resell and they are holding up extremely well. Just what you expect from a good quality leather piece.
I have run into ladies in the wild while carrying the turquoise and they all want to touch it, I’m always excited to run into someone who knows what it is. I must add it draws attention. So maybe they are rarely carried for the reason that people want to touch it and safety reasons. I am conscious that I’m carrying a $10,000 loud colored LV bag and wear it when I’m in safer places or my husband is with me. Getting a replacement would be difficult as the first was hard to come by so I definitely don’t want it stolen.
My 40 is headed out today for a day of fun with my granddaughter and she really is one of my all time favorite bags and I will use her to death ❤️

I love how you picked the brown to "go under the radar". Hahaha. That would be me too! I don't even want ppl to know how much it costs and create all kinds of chaos for me.

And here it is - the speedy P9 25 that I snagged off a local seller. It was brand new and unused, with most of the stickers still intact. The leather is really luxe and there are so many little details that you don’t normally see from LV (honestly I feel that they are so big they tend to cut corners for many of their products and packaging vs other smaller brands like Loewe) that it’s really quite a special bag. I did try on the black P9 30 back in December and it is actually a better size (the 25 is a bit small) but I really cannot complain given I paid 60% of retail price for it!

Is the navy 25 aswell? I know what you mean about the size. I’m currently trying to figure out the best for me. The 25 looks to be such an easy going bag to just grab and go. The 30 looks more like a small duffel but will be more useful for days out or travelling when you might want to carry things like a bottle of water or an iPad.

It took me so long to persuade myself to spend the money on one I’m now starting to think I need one in each size!
