Soooo…. Today our SA texted me and told me to bring in the P9 ASAP as he’s trying to get the manager to approve an exchange - a red P9 25 had become available instore. I packed everything up and brought it down and voila! Exchange approved. So I have a brand new speedy P9 25 in the same red (the color is slightly less vibrant somehow, but still ok) AND our SA went to repack the entire thing in the P9 white packaging AND the replacement P9 is now in my purchase history.

This means I can service and repair the P9 and I’ll be eligible to purchase the lock charm when it comes out in FW2025! Talk about a happy ending!! LOL.
There are differences though - so this is clearly a P9 that’s been part of the “reissue” for this year using the original season’s colors, so the plaque inside the bag is different. (Pictures taken at night so pardon the terribly inadequate lighting)

The leather square inside the pouch is now replaced by a hot stamp

The smaller dust bag holding the pouch and strap etc previously is now much smaller and can only fit the pouch

And most surprisingly no more pillow stuffer! I asked our SA if he had missed it out and he says not every P9 comes with a pillow now. But he told me to swing by to pick up the old pillow when I’m available.
Why is LV cutting corners even for the P9? The mind boggles.
