Wow! There is no doubt in my mind that these parents (Duggars, along with all other members) are in deep with this cult. Abuse victims abuse others. And so on, and so on..

I just read an article on Jill and her husband. I don't think they have much to do with the parents....they send their kids to public school and seems like they lead a more conventional lifestyle.
Counting On is STILL showing on TLC On Demand. Anna was in the last episode that aired. So you tell me how Josh is NOT getting funneled some of that TV money. The only moral thing for TLC to do is to completely remove themselves from the Duggars. They've been given enough chances at this point.
LMAO TLC has no morals half of the people on their reality shows have been arrested, use drugs, are extremely violent, have been accused of SA, and pedos. If they started having morals they wouldn’t have any shows left. If they didn’t completely drop them during the first round of accusations and trial they wouldn’t drop them now. They’ll just change the people and create a new spin off.
And then sneak them back once the news calmed down...
I have watched way too much YouTube since last April and my knowledge of the Duggars know proves it. Apparently her and her husband, who is just finishing law school (I believe he was an accountant before) have more or less made the break from the hard core fundamentalist background (dictatorship?) of her parents. So apparently, they wanted to do some endeavor of their own (not specifically described, but I can bet it may have be a show of their own, no matter how small) and they said they were told by TLC and or Jim Bob it was a no go; they must have signed off something or other. So then the next thing you know, Jill and Derrick had to get legal representation for Jim Bob to fork over some $ related to their presence on the TLC show. Which they also said amounted to "minimum wage". I think the combination of Jim Bob expecting them to be a presence on whatever their current show it for little money, combined with not being able to call their own shots for whatever they want to do moving forward was a real wake up call for Jill, if not a last straw.
Cheap ass Jim Bob pocketing all the $$ - insert my shocked face - not. Jill talks about being in therapy. I am sure she figured out from therapy, 'Molly, you in danger girl' and decided to, wait for this, set a healthy boundary for herself and her family and literally and figuratively put some distance between her and her parents and what I call, the compound.
She has a nose piercing, wears shorts and has openly talked about birth control. You will not find any of her siblings who are more or less serving up whatever mom and dad (edited- dictatorship) allow them to dabbling in any of this worldly temptation.

Yeah, when TLC started "Counting On" I actually believed them when they said it was a whole new show. I thought the girls were getting paid now. Come to find out that the TLC contract has NEVER changed and Jim Boob has been the ONLY one that has got paid this entire time!!!
Exactly. In that culture, the wife will make no independent decisions of her own, including financial. As someone pointed out, if her social media is monetized, family money, from her recognition on the show, is made there. And I am sure he is using her social media since I had heard he supposedly took his all down.

However, there are now extremely serious charges he is faced with. I do not believe his partents and TLC will escape the fallout. And I wonder if there is more to come out. His parents handled his early problems ineptly. I think Jim Bob has continued to handle things poorly in a way that might bring him down.
If someone had told me a while back, more would come out on this loser, I seriously thought it would him funnelling his TLC $ into strippers and prostitutes ad nauseum. And Jim Bob again covering it.
But to have come out what he is being charged with . . . un-freaking-believable.

Just wow. I think the damage is done. We will see as the trial unfolds. I want to see how TLC and JB and M attempt to spin this.
I expected as noted above, that Josh would continue with seedy extramarital activity. Like strippers, adultery, adult p0rn. I can’t believe that is a big step up from what he is dealing with.
Even if he would be acquitted of his current charges, the stigma will cling. I was watching an attorney give a lengthy commentary on YouTube. At one point I had to make the conscious decision to turn it off. I’ve heard just about all I want to for now. I’ll wait till the trial for start.

The fact that his "third party" custodian is a dude from Jim Boob's church. Yeaaaahhh... Josh is going to go right back to doing the same thing...and those high paid attorneys Josh has are going to delay the trial as long as possible

I'm shocked that the judge let him out on bail. If I recall correctly this judge literally just started a month ago. They should loose their job for this. This behavior has a exceptionally high rate of recidivism and this is not the first time he's been accused of this. There is a petition on change.org if you feel inclined to sign it to remove the Duggars from TLC.
