Hi, so I just received my alma bb in de MIU today and I think it's defective. I can't help but notice the flaws. Especially The bottom base of the bag. It's not aligned properly. Looks crooked? Not straight? When I place it on the table I notice all 3 of the feet touched the surface except on the right side of the feet. It doesn't touch at all. The stitching on the back I can see a little bit of the red thread from the inside of the bag. I figure that's the part where they close off the stitching so it's like double stitched not sure if that was normal? I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. But I know for sure the bottom of the based is crooked misaligned? Is this normal? has anyone had this issue with the alma bb before? Should I exchange it ?

I have an alma in epi leather and I also noticed the same things when it arrived. Especially the base that looks crooked. But to be honest I ignored the imperfections bcs they are only noticeable if you look closely and just kept my bag.

Hi, its more like warped at the bottom.I was thinking because of the puffiness /pillow ness that is inside the bag was causing the bottom of the base to look warped? I did read another thread that someone had a similar issue with it too. However another person mentioned that it will flattened overtime. Hopefully it will flatten the base as well?

Hi, so I had to return the alma bb MIU that I received this morning due to quality issues again. This is the second time now. This is a nightmare.I am so disappointed with lv quality control. I honestly almost gave up on trying to get the alma bb. So then I decided to just try calling a few lv stores to see if they had any better quality alma bbs in their locations. Lucky I was able to find the right one. And the manager and the sa was so sweet and super helpful. Even though I was being a pain asking them to send multiple close up photos of the bag. They were willing to send each angle of it. This is how paranoid I was! Everything went smoothly the bag look fine and they will ship it out to me. Hopefully I will be happy with this one.

Also the alma bb I will be receiving is MIF

Hope you like your new bag. In my experience though MIF doesn't mean the bag is flawless. My ALMA BB is made in France as well and the base doesn't sit straight. I haven't used it enough yet to see if it will flatten eventually.

Yes I am very well aware of that. Even though the bags are made from spain, Italy, France or Us. Some people out there like myself would like to own pieces that are MIF since that's where it's orginally from.So far I haven't had horrible quality issues with the ones that are MIF and MIS if anything its minor imperfections.But this was my first experience to deal with the quality issues that are MIU and it's just not working out. I'm sure not everyone went through this. But there are some that have. Like myself I just had bad luck. But to each of their own.
