Yes, it is the BB and comes with the long strap. My mom is 5’4” if that helps. ❤️

I would like to ask if anyone has purchased from EBay. I have been watching for the Alma BB for awhile on the website in new condition only and have seen a few that the savings would be about $200-300 from buying at the LV Boutique. Aside from the usual precautions when looking on EBay, they do have the verification process for the seller to go through before getting paid and I do ask questions about the bag and accessories, including where they got the bag and why they are selling, are there any downsides to purchasing from the website vs paying more from the actual LV store?
Seeing that this is going to be my first and probably last LV handbag purchase I don’t want to short myself - thank you!

I wouldn't by used unless I had a years and years of experience with LV. It is still LOTS of money and being sure is so important. I know that there are some check in place on eBay, and that there are authenticator services out there, but I have little trust in those too. I'd go to the boutique. That is the best and you'll have the sweet in-store experience. And take your time inspecting the bag, so there won't be surprises when you get home.
Which colour are you eyeing?

Thanks for the advice, my instinct tells me buy from the store (I would have to do it from the website)’but the cheapness in me wants to get a deal!! I want the monogram, I decided if it was going to be only a one time purchase it has to be the classic!

We are going to NYC in a couple of weeks before leaving on a cruise from Manhattan. I do plan on visiting the LV boutique to try on and purchase my Alma BB. My question is should I hand carry it thru the cruise security and airports or would it be better to have it shipped to arrive after we return. I would very much prefer to have it with me but carrying it around boxed and in a LV shopping bag may not be a good idea- what do you all think?

Take the bag in its’ dustbag with you and ship the box back home.
