The cute ALMA BB club!

I am a 25 year old student at the moment and work at a salon part time. I have a speedy b 25 in DE but don’t use it that often at all. I use my neverfull mm in DE or DA everyday. I love that bag and would love to add a mono mm to my rotation. I really like the speedy 30 as a hand carry bag as well. The Alma bb I know is small but I also recently added a Métis reverse to my collection so that might be similar. Very conflicted, and thought I might be more obsessed with my Alma bb than I am...

I have a monogram speedy b, but use my DE version more. Living in Florida, rain is part of life. I end up using the monogram speedy b during the winter because it rains less. Based on your collection, I would advocate a dainty option such as an Alma…but you shouldn’t have to convince yourself.

I initially did not like the Alma BB DE about two years ago. Instead, I purchased the speedy b in DE. Fast forward, I needed an Alma in DE in my life this year

The only thing I don’t like about the Alma bb is that it sticks out from my hip so far when I wear it crossbody.

Accessories should accent the look. I am 5’1” with hips so the Alma sticks out, but I like the way it looks. It’s a structured bag.

maybe the Croisette or Cluny might be other options?

Do the handles stick out like this though? Will they lay flat over time or is this how it usually is? I don’t see anyone else’s lay with the handles pushed out not flat like this.

Good news! When I first got my DE, the handles did stick out…which my epi version does not. I worried too. I wore the bag for about 2 weeks, adjusted them while wearing, and the handles now don’t stick out.

Hard to choose. My only epi handbag is Alma bb and love it’s sleekness. I also see the Amarante as likely one of the best vernis pieces. I don’t own vernis because patent can become sticky if not well taken care.
