I wasn’t going to post, but then again I want to ask for your opinion. The bottom stitches is over lap, heat stamp area have extra thread I supposed, and both handles seem not even. Can ya’ll take a look and let me know. Is this normal? I still have 2 more weeks to return.

Just joined the club yesterday after years of talking myself out of this bag. I inspected it at the store but apparently not close enough. I noticed a small dent in the handle when I got home. Its made in US. Do you guys think this is worthy of a return? I'm honestly thinking of just keeping it because it was hard to find and the store is an hour away but I'm not sure...

I think I agree with you. I'm just so excited to have it I don't think it's worth the hassle to try finding another and then the new one has potential for even more flaws. It's otherwise perfect. Someone said it's possible to rub out dents like this so I think I'll just try that.

I personally go for don't settle. I got recently a bumbag and noe bb with flaws and returned and found another and 2nd one was perfect. I got the same alma few weeks ago and mine doesn't have any of the flaws yours has. I think the fact that you are posting tells you are not happy with it.

After more inspection I also noticed the key holder looks torn. Surely that isn't normal. Massaging the dent out didn't work either so I've decided I'll be taking it back.

- The 3-backstitch is normal and necessary. They could do it on the sides or under the zipper though, but for some reason they do it front-and-center on many bags lately. I don't know why. But it is normal.
- On the square-tab on the side under the zipper, the stitching looks like it's fraying. I consider this the only dealbreaker.
- The right handle tabs seem to be not totally vertical on both sides. It wouldn't bother me, but I understand if it feels less than perfect. The handles are OK, on most very small bags when fresh (Speedy 25s and Alma BBs) they can look a little wonky, but that will go away with use.

Thank you for reply. I returned the Alma BB already, instead I get the Neverfull MM to replace it. I will get the Alma BB later but I will keep your point in mind. Thank god, my Neverfull MM turns out okay. I mean it is not perfect but at least I can keep it and not having to go through return again.

I was hoping to join this club today but I wasn't happy with the quality of my bag so I have sent it back to LV for an exchange... what do you all think? Firstly the corner looked lumpy and not smooth like the other 3 which bugged me, secondly there was this weird line scratch going along the bottom and lastly there was an indent in the leather on the handle strap tab. Not a great start!!

My first LV was a vintage Alma pm in monogram I bought from a consignment shop. Was way too big for my frame as a shoulder bag, I’m a shoulder bag kinda gal. The first bag I bought brand new was the Alma bb in damier ebene, but sold it 5 months later because I realized I don’t wear brown anything ever! Got in epi noir, loved that for a couple years, but it almost seemed juvenile/schoolgirl vibe, and it just didn’t fit enough. I hesitated with buying it in empreinte because i was worried the interior was yellow, but its true saffron orange and yellow mix. Looks more orange to me till you hold something orange up to it lol. Anyways, this bag fits way more, is more comfortable, and the leather is to die for! Finally found my perfect one! And MIF! It fits my mahina zippy wallet pretty nicely too!
