That's funny bc the silver hw is what's really leaning me towards epi. The DE version seems to wear better long term, I've seen the black epi with scratches along the middle part as well as it losing its shape (caves in in the middle of the bag). Any info on the wear n tear you can share on the epi @mocktail @Love_N_Lune ? TIA

How is it holding up?
I’ve owned my epi Alma for a year, and it’s brand spanking new looking. I take care of it and don’t put it on the floor. I conditioned it with Cadillac lotion. I do have to clear off dust between the ridges. I almost caused a crimp when I closed a drawer and accidentally caught the strap while it sat on my side table. I put myself on time out and now don’t ever leave straps dangling.

Why did I buy it?
I wear silver jewelry often and noticed there wasn’t that many options of black silver bag, but the epi noir fit the bill. I bought the business cardholder in Epi as my wallet given I don’t carry much cash and use few cards.

I have only seen one person in Central Florida with it and it was at Hollywood Studios. I wouldn’t wear LV to a Disney park but that is another conversation.

I highly recommend Alma BB in Epi Noir.

Epi noir I think is the answer even though I plan to get the lady Dior in black. They will have different hw so it would work I think. Thank you all!

Does anyone have or know how the Alma BB in the Seaside Epi leather looks in real life? It is really hard to tell from pictures what kind of shade it is. The color looks very light as it looks almost white in some pictures.

I am wondering if the color is more like dusty muted blue shade or if it’s a true pastel blue. Do you feel that the Seaside color suits Spring/ Summer only?

I find that most pastel shades (excluding pink) suit warmer seasons but dusty blue could be wearable throughout the year.

The Alma BB had been on and off my wishlist for years, and it is recently back on my radar again. Having read all reviews - the Alma BB is just THE perfect bag isn't it? No matter how you see it.

Was set on purchasing DE, till I chanced upon the Vernis Amarante just 2 days ago and can't imagine I took the plunge and bought it just like that! Please tell me it's not just an impulse purchase, I really hope i'll get to match it with my outfits and get to use this beauty often!

Pls let me know your thoughts on the BB Vernis Amarante - how you style the bag and take care of it

Congratulation! What a lovely choice! Amarante is an excellent choice for a vernis color as it will not get color transfers. And it's a gorgeous classic color you can dress down and up.
I don't have an alma bb in amarante, but I do have a pochette accessoires in amarante, and also an adjustable amarante strap which I wear together for casual wear, and the amarante and the gold hardware add just a touch of elegance imo.
I have no issues so far, and for me, the finger prints don't bother me.

the bag looks great!

I got to see the Alma BB in DE up close. In comparison to my Epi Noir version, it fell a little flat for me. I think the Alma looks better in leather.

The Epi Noir is gorgeous too! And yea, I agree with your take on DE... perhaps leather Alma is really a better choice, especially the price point for DE seems to be a little pricey for canvas.. but still I adore it! Just not as much as the vernis

I don‘t have color transfer on my light colored Alma BB (it‘s Magnolia, not Rose Ballerine). I think the Alma BB in Epi is great in durability and color transfer. This bag seems indistructible to me [emoji5]
