Hi, I laid my vernis alma bb on the scale and it weights about 500g/1,1lb. So it’s very light in my opinion. Although the strap is a bit thin, it doesn’t really dig in the shoulder imo.

You can always get either a non LV longer strap or an LV adjustable strap for your need. I switch my straps a lot for variety as well.

Just wondering if anyone has gotten a replacement strap for the alma bb.
I got mine shortened because its very long if I wear it on my shoulder (this is how I prefer to wear it). I kind of regret it now because I cant use it crossbody anymore, because I have learned that sometimes I need to wear it this way.
Just wondering if I can purchase a replacement strap at LV instead of purchasing the adjustable strap that is on their website.
If anyone has done this could you let me know how much it was?

I purchased the Alma BB in Epi noir today! After researching over the past month for black bags with silver hardware, I found my choices were limited. Either too small for price or inferior quality - I see most black bags come in gold hardware. I was concerned with the strap length - I am 5’2”. Luckily, my local LV store had one and my CA reserved it for me. I tried it on and admit it’s longer than I favor on the shoulder - but I rarely wear a crossbody strap on a single shoulder because it always falls. I loved how it looked as s crossbody, and of course, on the arm crook.
Who doesn’t love to coordinate? I ordered the business card holder in epi black (fuchsia was unavailable) as I don’t use big wallets - it’s a dressy card holder.
On the tag, I requested heat stamp of Vivienne on one side and my name initial on the other in silver. I’m excited to pick up the finished product this week.
And yes, made in France So, like yay for me! Speedy meet your cousin, Alma.

DE Alma BB owners....
I'm interested in adding one to my collection but I'm afraid that the treated leather will rub off on the corners. My Trevi PM has this problem since it's also a structured bag and the treated leather piping bumps into doors, walls, etc and the top layer of the treated leather rubs off to expose the lighter coloured suede underneath. Do any of you DE Alma BB owners experience this type of wear?

I’ve owned my Alma BB for over a year and I honestly do not baby it at all! The corners of my bag are still in perfect condition but I could see why you would be concerned. My friend who’s owned hers for a few years doesn’t have any rubbed corners on hers as well which is also what made me choose to purchase that cutie!
I had the same question until I just got the Alma bb in DE a few days ago. I have to say they are two totally different bags. The Alma has a distinct shape that doesn’t need a purse organizer to keep form. I love my speedy b DE 25 but I am totally glad I bought the Alma as well. With my speedy I was always worried about carrying something heavy because the shape would get weighed down. BTW, I am new to the club! But was on the fence for like 3 years because of my speedy 25 B.

I was wondering if anyone moved their clochette to the other side of the handle. It came originally on the strap hook part of the bag and it felt really bulky and didn’t sit right so I decided to place it on the other side. Weird or am I missing something? Just curious. Thanks for any insight!❤️❤️

Hey welcome to the club ❤️ I also had both alma bb and speedy 25 but in the end I exchanged it with speedy b 30 simply because I wanted more space.. but I do agree, the alma and speedy 25 are quite different. Question, is the leather I see there the matte type leather? My Alma bb that I purchased august last year has shiny-ish leather and all shiny hardware but the speedy 25 and 30 has matte leather and the hardware is more matte as well (purchased last month).. just wondering
