I might be crazy but I am not going to give up on the cupid just yet. Keeping my MT on pre-order!
Would still like to see reveals of the ladies who ordered black though!!!

Same here, I am not discouraged by the photos, I like still like the shape and style, and I really like the look of the hardware in the stock photos of the MT. The straps being loose under the bottom would bother me, but I am keeping the faith that they are adjustable - because it wouldn't make sense otherwise. I have mam's/mattie's out the whazoo already and I am stoked to find another satchelly option in RM. I am just bummed that I have to wait 2 more mos for the MT

^^^^^ I second this - I was excited to see another RM satchel option. I don't mind the skinny handles at all - it's the loose straps under the bottom that are giving me pause.

I still like it too. I really would like another option besides the MAM. I picked one up today to compare shape/size with the MAM. It isn't the right color (I pre-ordered the MT) but I really needed to know how I felt about the cupid before I possibly returned the MAM for the cupid. I didn't want to have regrets either way. I will take pictures tonight, before I return it. I actually like it in person.

I think it looks good on pink1! I'd love to see it in person, especially in a smooshy leather. With some smush the short handles would look more comfortable.

Pics are loading now. They are adjustable, but only to a certain point. In the pics, they are as tight as they will go and imo, look fine.

Here is the Cupid compared to a MAM. It is not completely stuffed. I left about half the paper in it.

Some mod shots. The long strap is really long if it is all the way out. I adjusted it some for the second crossbody pic.

The Cupid does have cool pocket behind the main pocket. It would be perfect for putting your phone in for easy access.

I really like the extra pockets and the way it lays cross-body, but there is something about the shape I am just not sure of. I know it isn't the same color, so it is a little harder to picture. But if it was the Metallic Taupe, I am still not sure I would choose it over the MAM. I think I may stick with the MAM. I don't know...

Thanks for the pics! The straps look fine. The shape reminds me a bit of one of the RM baby bags, but I still like it. I like all the pockets and overall size also. Good luck w/ your decision!

Thanks so much for the pics sandc!! The only time I'm not crazy about the shape is when it's worn by the short handles, it looks likes a perfect square. Otherwise, carried by the long strap I think it looks fab! The extra pocket is a terrific feature!

Yes, this is the perfect way to describe it. You want to like it. You sort of do, but something is just missing.

Thanks so much for these pics, Sandc! They were/are so helpful. I really like the Cupid more now. I am so relieved the bottom straps don't sag below the bag so much. I also really like that is is a different shape/silhouette than the MAM. I am totally decided now and am definitely going to give Cupid a try!

Good luck in your decision, the MAM is so classic and really looks beautiful in the MT so you can't go wrong either way, IMO!

Thank you for posting these photos! I have a lavender Cupid on pre-order, but I'm not sure about it now. I still prefer MAM over the Cupid, but I don't need another MAM!

the leather looks amazing though! the bag looks cool but maybe it's the chunky hardware that throws off the look.
