I think LB smooshed the top to make the bag look better. I was just wondering if the bag would stay that way easily when being carried or if you'd have to "shape" the bag. Thanks!

Not really. I tried it when I was doing the mod shots. Honestly, it isn't the most comfortable when worn over the shoulder with the 2 handles. My MAM is more comfortable over the shoulder. I smooshed it down a little and it stayed a little, but not smooshed very much. It seems to bounce right back into it's square position. It might depend on the leather, but this leather is pretty soft.
That might be part of it. The shape combined with the hardware. I don't know. I am disappointed in this bag though. Like the Delight, I was really excited for it and thought I would love it and it just isn't working for me. I am bummed because I have it on pre-order with a discount. Oh well.
The Cupid does have cool pocket behind the main pocket. It would be perfect for putting your phone in for easy access.
I really like the extra pockets and the way it lays cross-body, but there is something about the shape I am just not sure of. I know it isn't the same color, so it is a little harder to picture. But if it was the Metallic Taupe, I am still not sure I would choose it over the MAM. I think I may stick with the MAM. I don't know...
I got the same bag too and I think I feel the same way as you i.e love that extra pockets (there's a total of 5 pockets outside) and when it's worn cross-body. But I'm not sure that I the way it looks when worn by the handles. I think it's quite comfortable though because it's flatter bag compared to the MAM. I think this would bag a great bag for travelling.
I don't like having the teal leather paired with the gold hardware though. There is quite a bit of h/w on the bag and I find the combination a bit garish. I think this color would look terrific with the antique silver or silver. I would prefer the antique silver to diffentiate it from the old distressed teal.

I agree with this 100%. I am trying to picture the cupid with MT leather and antique silver hw. I know I would like it a lot more, but I don't know if I would like it enough. The shape feels awkward to me when I try to carry it over the shoulder. Too bulky maybe.
^ I am sort of in the same situation as you. I have the lavender Cupid on pre-order. I think I would like it more too but at the same time I am unsure of the shape.
On the other hand, lavender is likely to be a lighter color compared to teal, therefore denim transfer may be more obvious if I wear it crossbody.

Looks like Saks has the metallic taupe Cupid in stock. I imagine other vendors will have it soon then as well.

^I like the way it looks on the saks site! You should be able to go to your account and cancel your pre-order or just send an email to the company you pre-ordered with asking to cancel.
