Wow, the leather is so distressed!!! Amazing.The Cupid does have cool pocket behind the main pocket. It would be perfect for putting your phone in for easy access.
I really like the extra pockets and the way it lays cross-body, but there is something about the shape I am just not sure of. I know it isn't the same color, so it is a little harder to picture. But if it was the Metallic Taupe, I am still not sure I would choose it over the MAM. I think I may stick with the MAM. I don't know...
Just got my shipment confirmation on my MT, so I'll see what she has to say for herself in person. Funny how this started out a hotly anticipated bag w/ so much buzz and now everyone lost their enthusiasm. Eh, what do I know, I still have and love my Ruse
I'm interested in seeing your pictures. Honestly I would much rather have the Cupid than a MAM, which to me is a much boxier shape. Finally, a designer made the smaller handles removeable and not just the longer one. Love the outside pockets and the hardware. Just don't know what color.
Yep, I actually love the MAM, but I've already got a few of those and I just can't justify getting anymore (w/ the possible exception of Beige Pink now that it's no longer available and RM decided NOT TO MAKE MY BP DELIGHT that I had on pre-order, WTH?!?). I am hopeful for the Cupid. I do see PG's point about the thinner handles but other than that, the square shape and other concerns voiced here I think won't bother me. I have a tendency towards large ungainly luggage shapes for whatever reason
Maybe they make me think I'm on vacation.
Are you still getting it rael? I'm waiting for someone to do another reveal of this bag but it seems no one is interested in this bag anymore, except for a few Minkettes. I would love to see some pics of this bag in Black or any other color. I'm still irked about the handles, but maybe it won't be so bad. I'm just paranoid of it breaking and/or turning floppy with use. RM did make the new MAMs handles more softer and bendable now, after all. I wonder if it's the same with the Cupid?
I hope someone else does a reveal soon.... especially in Lavender if it's going to be made (doubt it, though).
The video is up! I like the style a lot better than I thought. I am leaning towards it in Metallic Taupe..

^^^ The Cupid is due to arrive on Monday. I love this Red color so much that I also ordered it in the Mam. I've been looking for the perfect red bag for... oh, the past decade or so. Had Bal Rouge Theatre and Sang, but both weren't quite "me".
This new RM Red is definitely more my speed. It's an deep orangey red, and quite warm in tone. I much prefer this to a cool blue-tone one.
Well, just a few short days, and we shall see if the bag/color is as beautiful as what I remember from the store today (oh the torture of the wait...)
