I just got this bag as a birthday gift in black leather after having an eye on it for months and noticed a scratch. Does the bag scratch easily?
I couldn't really tell you. I got the Ivy (as posted) & had it customized but just found myself not using it. I'm really pairing down my bags so it's up on Ebay for sale. Is your black the studded or plain? I only ask because IMO, the leather on the quilted & studded one was very soft & felt thin. Everyone's opinion is different though...depends on how hard you are on your bags.
Clear as mud, huh?

I love the bag that anthrosphere posted a pic of. I've been eyeing that Parker since it appeared on Macy's site about a week ago. My only hesitation with it is that I'm not sure I can keep white leather white. I won't be happy if I get dye transfer on it....I have that Apple conditioner, which I've successfully used on other leather, so maybe I could protect with that?
In any case, I have the black quilted with the bright colors (love this bag so much), and I just ordered the snakeskin one from Bloomies. I don't like the Coach logo, but I do like it on this bag for some reason. This sounds like a lot, but I rarely buy bags!
How is your striped bag holding up so far? Any issues? It looks so edgy, elegant, cool... (Posted once, but quote didn’t go through!) Thanks!!:)

From my experience with it, the department store black, gray versions, etc, would have the potential to scratch just based on the type of leather it is. It is kind of a smooth, thin leather, and I think it just has the potential to show scratches more than some other bags. Not that it isn't a quality bag, but it is possible for that to happen.
