I actually don't like either option. Maybe a cobbler can fix 2 snug leather bands to keep the flaps in its place? Or, if you're sure you're never going to wear it longer than this, I'm sure they can shorten it!

I am not a big fan of both options either but I hate the flaps sticking out even more, maybe I can superglue them together.

Hi all, am I the only one annoyed with the flap sticking out on the noe bb?
I am thinking of using rubberbands to keep from sticking out, or change straps, does it either look weird?
Is there a better way to do this?

Well I don't like either options either. If you have lots of monogram pieces, I really suggest buying a monogram bandouliere. You can use it on all your mono items.

Like this one, which is adjustable, but a good investment.

Joining the club. Christmas present from my husband.
Watched a YouTube video on how to tie the drawstring and now I’m even more in love with her, just have to order a bag liner and then I will start using her for work.
Congratulations! She's gorgeous:loveeyes: My DH got me one this year too but for Mother's Day and in DA:heart: I guess I can join the club too:lol:

Hi Guys,

I finally got a petit noe and she’s beautiful! I love the size and style. It’s my first LV bag (or second if you count pochette accessories). But I was just trying her on at home and got a hairline scratch on the vachetta right in the center of the side that’s the front :’(. I don’t know how it happened, maybe finger nail or it grazed the wall. I’ve been dreaming of wearing her outside for the first time but now I’m scared if I take her out I’ll get 100 more of these scratches.

What do you guys with more experience think. Do you have a lot of these types of scratches? Does letting them patina more at home before taking them out help? Is this just something I’m going to have to accept and just use her and enjoy her?

My goal was an everyday bag, I figure if I spent this much money, i want to actually enjoy her and be one of those people with a well worn bag that’s like an old pal one day. I thought I’d have no problem just wearing her but im struggling now that this small scratch is bugging me this much

Your Noè is beautiful and such a classic bag. Even with you magnifying the scratch it is very difficult to see. Although I also try to keep my bags pristine I love to see well worn bags in the wild.

I have a Noè BB that I have only used once so it is still pristine. On the other hand my Speedy B 30 from 2016 has a nice even patina and a few scratches. When I first photographed it on my terrace it fell and got some light gray paint on the handles; I felt nauseated! It has become my workhorse travel bag though now. Recently I spilled a Diet Coke on it. There was definitely Coke on the vachetta. After it dried I wiped the canvas and reconditioned the vachetta, honestly I can’t even see where the Coke might have been.

Some like to speed the patina’ing process but I prefer to let it occur naturally.

So bottom line, enjoy your bag! The little scratch is hardly noticeable. Hopefully it will accompany you on your daily adventures and become the pal you want it to be!

Congratulations on your beautiful noe  and your second LV bag. Yes! Pochette accessoires is a small bag. Attach an adjustable strap and you have yourself a beauitufl crossbody bag.
I agree with @Mimmy. Just wear and enjoy your bag:smile:
