It’s a bag I don’t feel like I have to stress over. Even carried a water bottle. Maybe next time a champagne split as a tribute to its heritage!

I'm so bummed... I've just broken the drawsstring on my PN. I was cleaning the back, conditioning the leather, and while rigging it up I pulled too hard. ‍ It's a vintage one, so the leather was a bit worn to begin with too.

Does someone have advice on what to do?

I am pretty sure that you can buy just a replacement drawstring from Louis Vuitton.

There is also an Etsy seller Mcraftleather who sells replacement drawstrings and other accessories specifically for the LV Noe and other bags.

This would likely be less expensive than buying one from LV. A new one won’t have patina but there are ways to patina it some (I have seen threads discussing this).

I have also seen other members using scarves/twillys instead of drawstrings.

I’m sure You can order a new one from LV. I actually ordered a replacement on Etsy. I believe it was $20
