Alcohol-free/fragrance-free baby wipes will eventually get rid of marks if you gently rub them a little, let dry throughly between baby wipes cleanings and the marks will eventually fade, saw a YouTube video about this. I would condition the vachetta before doing this each time tho so it doesn’t dry out

I’ve been having a major clear out of my handbags that hasn’t gotten used last year and simply doesn’t work for me anymore.

Now it’s Noe time. But this one is really hard, I fear I might regret.

Basically the bag is from -91, bought preloved and changed all leather in aug 2018. Since then I haven’t really dared to use it. I’m too afraid to mark vachetta. Everytime I have worn it I check for marks and of course now there are some. I mainly use it for office to carry laptop in.

I have two small children now under age of 2 which makes xbody bags the number one choice for me.

Noe is my only big bag, I have Noir Pochette Metis, DE SpeedyB25 and Monogram Bumbag.

So I worry will I miss a big bag if I sell? The Noe is such a beautiful bag. Should I just stop caring about the vachetta and let it live? Not sure I can...

A lady said it so well “I buy bags that works with my lifestyle - not bags I have to adapt to”.

I personally would keep it. I haven’t carried monogram in years but I remember how I would be so careful with the vachetta. Yours looks like it has started to patina nicely, which it does even just sitting in the closet. It’s a real classic and having one large bag is a great idea.

Does anybody have any recommendations on sellers on getting a top handle for their Petite Noe? I was looking at Mcraftleather listing on Etsy which advertises for Noe bb and smaller bags than Petit Noe, unsure if I’ll be annoyed with trying to open the bag if the strap is too short?? I’ve seen photos in reviews which some people have attached to their petit Noe but still not sure...thoughts?

Hello everyone,

I have just received the newest member of my family: Noé bb Azur:love:
What can I say ... I seem to just love bucket bags :hbeat:
Thanks for letting me share!

hi! Can you update on how the patina on your Azur BB vachetta is coming along? Also, how old is the patina on your monogram bag? I just received my Azur Noé BB and am debating on whether to protect the vachetta or not. I really would like it to patina to the glossy, honey colour of your monogram.

Hi!
Sure, I am happy to share my patina :amuse: although I must say the Azur Noe still is veeeeeery light. I haven‘t used her that much. My big Noe was bought in spring 2019 and that one comes out quite often, when I need a big bag and the weather is nice. So it‘s almost exactly two years old.

I have treated both of them with Collonil Carbon Pro and refresh them once a year- so I actually have to treat the big one again very soon. I am careful with my bags but not crazy careful.

pic of the strap is in direct sunlight

Thanks so much! Do you think they will get that shiny glossiness as time goes on? Or does the Collonil prevent that?

Hi all, I am looking for a vintage Noe and I have found one that I like on eBay(Japanese seller) but the date code is SP0917. I have been looking at a ton of preloved and every one has a factory code of AR.... I'm NOT looking for authentication but just curious if anyone has a Noe with the SP factory code. Thanks!

I just checked mine and it too begins with an AR, but it's made in France. Maybe the SP is because it was made somewhere else??

Thank you cwool and Monimo for checking for me! I found 2 Noe on fashionphile with the SP date code. Apparently that is a factory in France. Both of those had the heat stamp and the seller said it was made in France also. I took the plunge and will have it authenticated once it arrives. Must not have made many Noe there?? Fingers crossed!

I got mine in November from Vuitton and it is also SA. Made in France.

Thanks Bull. The ones that I’ve seen listed that are SP are from 1995, 97 and 2000. The one I purchased is from 1997 so hopefully I can get it authenticated. I had purchased one last week from fashionphile but it looks like it has mold on it and it was AR1912. I’m holding on to it until I get the new one to see how they compare. I want a vintage piece because I would be to nervous to carry that much new vachetta
