I see you had the bag enough to tell
Me if you love it - still on my radar just wanted some advice - thanks !
Not sure if you meant me since I saw you quoted my bag then said nothing and then this post was after it? I love my Noe BB still. I use several strap options with it (posted pics earlier in this thread if you do a search by name). I actually do not prefer the Noe BB strap. I mostly use the Speedy B strap (with or without middle piece) or the handle strap from Metis Hobo (I think that is the name).

Brought out my vintage noe which was passed down from my mom. She was made on April 1985 :wtf: and might have to retire soon as her trimmings are cracking despite all the TLC im giving; weekly conditioning etc. I love this bag despite the stains and the cracking and boy can i fit an elephant in it!

Aww so sweet that you carry something that was your mom’s. That was the first LV bag my mom gave me for my birthday 30+ years ago. I wish I still had it! I would totally get the Vachetta replaced.

I was thinking of getting the vachetta replaced too but I like the look of the beat up and tanned vachetta (weird i know) and plus point is i dont get so paranoid of having new stains on it when i bring it out, which is not often. Shall give it a thought before deciding!

Does anyone know if there are any more recent petite noe (monogram) bags made in or around 2000’s?

I want to purchase a petite noe but I don’t like the new style with the vachetta trim around the bottom.
If at all possible would like to try to hunt one down. If I buy preloved with vachetta in poor condition it’ll cost me nearly 800 to replace vachetta + cost of bag. And for that price I may as well buy a brand new one. ‍♀️

They are out there, you just have to hunt. I had the old version and was planning on replacing the Vachetta around the opening and getting a new strap. That bag was stolen. Eventually I was able to replace it with a preloved new version in very good condition. I got it at half the new price. I just did the patina champ method and haven’t had any problems. Good luck!

I actually found one for 800 but I’m scared purchasing through eBay.

Thank you for your response!

I’ve purchased several bags and slgs off EBay from Japan. Not once have I received a fake. You can also get it authenticated. All the stores I’ve dealt with have guarantees to be authentic. I paid $700 for my petit and it was the first time I ordered off Tradesy. I was convinced it was a fake but when I received it, I was blown away at the condition. I won’t order from Tradesy again but eBay/January an no problem. From my experience, they tend to rate their bags lower and than the actual condition. :)

It’s not from at store, but an individual seller but they have multiple listings of bags and all good feedback. When I messaged about it the seller said that particular bag they were selling was from a friend who collected Louis Vuttion bags, it truly looks like it could have come from the store except for one small mark on the bottom.
But I just get slittish like I won’t get what I’m actually purchasing. I’ve read all the horror stories from people on facebook about buying online ‍♀️
