Is your user name based off the Japanese steamed egg dish? My husband is going to make some tomorrow! So good! View attachment 3574756

I'm afraid I'm not a delicious Japanese side dish.. My user name comes from "Gallop from Moscow to Cheryomushki" by Shostakovich, misspelled. Long story.
I'm impressed that your husband is making you that egg dish. It's really hard to make.

With our dollar, shipping and duty, it became $300. But yes I agree, good deal none the less. My friends and bf was shocked at a value and bf thought it was brand new bag! Restoration projects on vintage bags are fun too. I am currently looking for vintage speedy 30 in monogram.. I have a such fetish for vintage. I looked at couple bags from 80's and one even older. I do highly recommend my seller, he was so sweet and nice. But it seems like he rarely does auctions and not to many LV's.. Good luck on your search and show us once you find one!

Yaaas! Restoration sounds really intriguing. Do u have a link to your seller?

I purchased a preloved petit noe in November. The vachetta was pretty old so I'm saving to get it all replaced. I also love the old model with less vachetta. I ordered a LV slider off ETSY that's super cute for it....now I just need the bag repaired!

Omg. Never knew about the slider! I'm new to not just this forum but the whole luxury brand world. Haha. The slider is Super cute!

Want to get some options...
I'm thinking about dyeing the leather on my petit noe black. I saw someone carrying one and I thought it was pretty, but, I'm afraid that it would take away from the brand.
Thank you for your options in advance!
I don't think the color would take away from the brand. If you like black accessories then you'll probably be very happy. I personally do not like black details against monogram canvas. I just think it classes whIle others love the combo. If you were trying to cover up worn or stained vachetta with the black I would pick a burgundy shade, as it compliments the tones of monogram... but then if that color wouldn't match your wardrobe then that color.doesn't make sense. Pick a color that will go with the majority of what you wear :) it won't take away from the brand. Especially a classic color that LV already offers in some of their bags. Like the Reitro, you look at that online you can see what other colors look lIke against monogram print. I like their shade "rasin" myself :)

Thank you for your advise. I didn't think about a raisin color and to be honest, it would compliment my color pallet . Thank you again [emoji177]
