The quilt size looks normal to me in both pictures. The top bag looks like the Old Medium size and the second the New Medium size which is bigger than the Old Medium. The quilts may look smaller because the bag itself is bigger.

But both bags have the same code A92193 which refers to the New Medium that is 28cm....
The official CHANEL distributor here told me that the quilt design has not changed...
Maybe its just the angle of the photo...?
Do you mind posting a full picture of your bag? You can always count the quilts to confirm the size but yes, the quilt sizes did not change for the Boys this season. There are however older versions that had bigger quilts a few years back.
I will as soon as possible as i am away on holiday now.... If anyone can tell , please share with me...
Hi, for those of you who own a small/mini Boy and small/mini Coco handle, which do you prefer in terms of size, space, look, longevity, practicality, etc? I'm trying to decide between which of the two to get. I want to be able to it day-to-evening and would get red in color. Thanks.
i have both and i would say the mini coco handle fits a tad bit more due to the two compartments and flexibility of the leather but would choose the boy over the coco handle
the top handle on the mini coco is a little too small to wear comfortably on the crook of your arm and the strap is also a little too short to crossbody. its super feminine and chic though. i usually just hold the bag by the handle which can get a little uncomfortable. while the small boy doesn't fit a whole lot, its more versatile and can be used as an every day bag as well (if you carry minimal). if you are going to get it in red though... i think the coco handle would look best in that color! try both on 
Unless your collection is already full of black, I would get black. So classic. If you already have lots of black, I vote for the pink/nude.
Thank you for the input! I have a couple of black bags...I’m still undecided if a third one will be too many. But at least, I’m seeing the verdict as no on the green. I thought it would’ve been more liked bc of the rareness but maybe not?
Green is a definite no for me. Mostly its the hardware. I would find it very hard to incorporate into my wardrobe. The boy is already casual and the rainbow hardware makes it even more so. Rarity is not a thing for me - I only buy what is going to get the most use and fit into my collection. The nude and black are equal to me. My ultimate decision would be based on what hardware I wanted and what need I wanted to fill!

This is YOUR bag! If the green is what makes your heart flutter, then that is the bag for you! Get it! Just make sure you have thought through how you plan to wear and use it. I have purchased a couple bags that I found utterly stunning on a shelf, but they ended up not fitting at all with my personal style and wardrobe and they were ultimately sold at a loss.I'm not one to go for the rarity either but idk i felt that this one was special...I do understand your point though w the black and nude.
