Hi Ladies!!

I finally got my Chanel boy in my dream combination - black medium chevron in smooth calf with ruthenium hardware..

One qn.. noticed there seem to be an irregularity with the leather texture at the bottom of the bag. Idk if I should be concern about it since the bottom will not be in contact with anything due to the design. But just wondering if this is normal since this is my first Chanel in smooth calf

Update:

My lovely SA suggested an exchange. Here I present to you the smooth calf in chevron!

Aimee3, I carry all the items you mention in a small bag. The key is to carry travel and miniature and sample sizes. You can use a very small pill bottle or mint box for your medication. I carry a very tiny comb instead of a brush, and I carry a card holder instead of a wallet. You may find you only need a couple of credit cards, an ID or driver’s license, and emergency cash. I transfer mints and a few pieces of gum to a very tiny case from some mints I used. Sometimes I even cut for sticks of gum and half. I carried a perfume sample which I can actually refill. I used to need large bags, but now I find out my belongings fit into the smallest of bags.

Off topic but how do you ladies get away with carrying so little? At the bare minimum I need to have: phone, keys, very small wallet, comb, mirror, lipstick and liner, tissues(!), allergy & headache pills & toothpicks just in case, breath spray or mints, sunglasses. In the evening I can leave out the sunglasses but I hate an overstuffed bag. TIA
