I had the leather part wrapped under the purse and the chain pulled up and placed behind the bag. Kind of the way my SA had it wrapped but without the tons of tissue paper.
Yes, there are two in my area, at NM and Saks Fifth Ave and I went to both. I'm new to Chanel so I bought my first bag (jumbo classic flap) from Saks and went back there looking for a matching slg for my boy bag, which I had not received by that time because I bought it from a luxury reseller shop and it had to be shipped from an overseas seller. Unlike many LV items, I was told that once something is sold out in Chanel, that's it. I do plan to go back in a few weeks to talk to my Chanel S.A. to see if I can possibly get something though. Thanks so much.
Ah ok! Yes definitely go to the store with your new boy and try them out. Yes sadly all Chanel items are kind of seasonal but with new leases every few months (6times a year!) the odds are pretty good something will come out that will suit you! If not this round just wait a month or 2
