Should I sell this boy away? I feel I have too many bags but my gut feel tells me not to sell this away... View attachment 3924010
I posted this bag up for sale and am shocked the endless number of enquiries it makes me re-think not to sell this !!!
Help!
I just got a chanel boy in caviar at chanel Tokyo.
When I got back to the hotel and unbox it, I noticed that there are light scuffings at the bottom corners which I believe is due to the rubbing of the surface when you place the bag on a table etc. Tried my best to capture the scuffings in the photos. I don’t feel comfortable and intend to go back for an exchange because for the price I’m paying, I’m really expecting it to be in perfect condition. I’m ok with scuffings but that has to come from myself and not when it’s brand new condition. However, I would like to seek opinions here as this is my first boy. Is this normal?
Don't sell it. It such a unicorn. You won't be able to find another one like it. You'll regret selling it...unless you don't it then it's a different thing otherwise, keep it.Hi OP!
I would not sell this unicorn boy if I were you. It is very unique and it is for sure one of the most hardwearing leathers. I have it in three variations: small boy, classic m/l, and double carry. I do not wear small boy and m/l, but I do not even consider selling them. However, I am the kind of person who has no problem with not using some bags and just having them sit around until I want to use them again.
I think that you may regret selling this since your gut feeling is telling you not to sell. Always follow your gut instinct, it is always the right one. Once you will sell, you will not be able to get it back.
Hi! I recently bought my first Chanel- an old-medium Boy. I love it, but am finding the space inside really restrictive due to the wallets that I currently have. I also like to put glasses and/or a tiny umbrella inside.
Can anyone recommend a wallet that doesn't take up much space in the boy?
The Chanel SLGs seem really thick- just like my LV empreinte Pont-Neuf wallet. I was wondering if anyone has a Gucci or LV canvas wallet they like in the medium Boy? And one more thing... I really hate folding up my bills and can't handle zip arounds which is why I can't do any of the card holder type wallets or zippys. Thx!
Take it back right away & ask them to exchange. It should be perfect.Help!

Caviar is very durable. It you're careful with you bag, it shouldn't happen over time either. You just to be careful.I think you should exchange for another one. I think it will happen over time however shouldn’t happen for a brand new one. I’m currently in Japan and as I mentioned I do recommend not to buy one in Tokyo esp Ginza as too many people have tried on the bags.
Stunning!!!! Congratulations on your first boy bag!![]()
