It's the So Black Small Boy in smooth calfskin! my CF are all in Caviar leather which are maintenance free, but this new boy look so delicate! hope i can get some advices on how to take care/maintain this smooth calfskin.

Beautiful!! My first Chanel was a small black calfskin boy (with ruthenium hardware). Great choice and congrats!

Super excited that I got my new black caviar black boy from 18P!!!!!!

While checking the bag out, I noticed the made in tag in the bag, looks different.
Anyone notice? Or is it just me? Haha

Help!
I just got a chanel boy in caviar at chanel Tokyo.
When I got back to the hotel and unbox it, I noticed that there are light scuffings at the bottom corners which I believe is due to the rubbing of the surface when you place the bag on a table etc. Tried my best to capture the scuffings in the photos. I don’t feel comfortable and intend to go back for an exchange because for the price I’m paying, I’m really expecting it to be in perfect condition. I’m ok with scuffings but that has to come from myself and not when it’s brand new condition. However, I would like to seek opinions here as this is my first boy. Is this normal?

Anyone been able to find a boy caviar zip around wallet in black with gold hardware? Also, did Chanel make them with two bill flaps?

I think you should exchange for another one. I think it will happen over time however shouldn’t happen for a brand new one. I’m currently in Japan and as I mentioned I do recommend not to buy one in Tokyo esp Ginza as too many people have tried on the bags.

Thanks happy27, managed to exchange for another one earlier and it is perfect! I actually didn't think the first one I got is a "tried on" piece because I saw that they took it out from drawers for customers who want to try and new pieces at the back. But how it was being handled, im not sure. Do you also have a caviar boy? How does it wear? I find that it's rather different from my caviar flap.

I do have caviar boys, and they’re holding up really well! They’re also very easy to take items in/out. Congrats on your purchase you will love it!
