I heard that the metallic can fade away & once there's damage, Chanel won't be able to fix it. I've personally seen pictures of Chanel handbags with the metallic fading off of some sections so you'll need to be very careful with your bag. The bag will probably have to be for special occasions...I think. You may want to ask your Chanel SA about this.

Hello TPFs, I'm thinking of getting a small boy bag but just wondering if a kindle paperwhite would fit in? I carry my kindle almost everywhere so will have to reconsider if it doesn't fit...
I don't have a boy in the small size or a Paperwhite Kindle, but the small boy holds very little....less than a mini. Exterior dimensions are 4.7"x7.9"x2.8"; however, the interior dimensions as far as its capacity are probably about an inch smaller in height and width due to the design of the bag. Looks like the dimensions of the Paperwhite Kindle are 4.6'x6.7", so I can't imagine it would fit in the small boy. You will probably have better luck fitting it in the Old Medium boy, which has exterior dimensions of 5.7"x9.8"x3.1". HTH

I am super excited to share with you guys my very first Chanel! This was a gift from my future mother-in-law (she is just amazing~~~!) I’ve been admiring the Boy Bag for a very long time, and now I finally get to be a proud owner. I’ve only ever had Coach’s and Michael Kors’s in the past, so this is extremely special for me. I feel like this just opened the doors for me to a whole new world of luxury handbags.

I can't say for sure but looking at the picture, it looks almost like a caviar/hard type of finish on the bag. If it is, it should wear well; Chanel usually does a good job with their metallics. From my experience, the metallic bags to be careful of are ones that feel like the metallic color is just a "coating" on the outside. (Balenciaga had some bags like this at one point and the metallic color would slowly wear off.) I have a metallic deerskin one that has worn very well, just a bit of wear on the corners. My metallic eyelet flap has a hard silver finish and I feel like it's almost as durable as caviar.
I would go and "feel" the bag and then go with your gut. It is gorgeous tho! (Now I want one too!)

It's caviar Black RHW someone said it will be release on 18Cruise season but I'm not sure : )
Do you know what department store or does your SA have the codes? I just contacted Saks and they said hey didn’t order it.
