It is new. From Saks in NY. Not many available right now it seems. She had this one and the classic lambskin quilted with aged hardware.

Score! He's mine! With a little help from a Purseforumer, I was able to get my hands on this Old Medium So Black last week, and it arrived today! This is my second boy, my first being a new medium. I didn't find myself reaching for the new very often because it was so large. This is the absolute perfect size. I am so excited, I feel like the rest of my bags will be ignored!!! Now just have to decide if I am going to make myself use my new medium more or sell it. I am a little more inclined to keep it because it is a dream bag of mine (the goatskin black with black enamel hardware and patent trim from 15). Then again, I don't yet have a classic flap and can't seem to get rid of the itch for one even though I think the strap length is much much too short for me. Anyway, here is a pic, though I know we have all seen pictures of the So Black to no end, one more!

I didn't because I literally bought the so black Boy in new medium last week from NM and I never thought that opportunity was going to cross and it did so I grabbed it but that was the original one I was going to get so I told him I can't buy 2 bags in 1 month it sucks it's so beautiful though!! That's the one I was going to buy before the so black boy came into my life. Here's my boy! Ignore my dirty mirror lol.

I just posted this in the prefall thread but wanted to add it here! Just to let everyone know - I did receive the new prefall boy and it was GORGEOUS. It was the best caviar I have seen in boy bags in a while...much thicker than previous seasons and not matte. (IMO). However, the thick gold chain was just too flashy for my casual (and soon to be new mommy) taste. I realized I never use my reissue for the same reason..
Do you think this prefall caviar boy similar to so black grained lambskin boy? From pics, they looked very similar.
No it is much thicker and more sturdy! I thought the grained lambskin was pretty soft....
