I'm talking about the new mini that's coming out for Fall 12 - it's made of the same deerskin so while it might seem more structured initially, it'll probably slouch just like the regular one. If you're talking about the smaller sized mademoiselle that came out in older seasons, then I have no idea If you're looking for a more rigid tote from Chanel, try the patent ones.

do you think the mini will hold it's shape better than the regular cerfs? just because it is smaller and will hold less/won't be as weighed down.

the cerf retails for $3,000 USD. I haven't heard anything about the bag being discontinued...hope that's not true. It's a true classic.

I got my cerf SHW sept n its still hold nicely, but i don't carry it often so with a longer time I will find out as the other threads are saying it gets more slouchy ! will see....

This may have changed, if my memory is correct, the cerf tote with the CC closure came in only one size. The cerf with the Mademoiselle closure came in a large and smaller east-west size.

Just wondering: Is it easy to carry The Executive as a shoulder bag without the detachable strap? As much as I like the extra strap I would prefer it that way...(but it has to be comfortable as well).

The Chanel store is actually keeping one aside for me already, but it never hurts to hear someone else’s opinion! Especially since you girls seem to know A LOT about it! Thank you in advance!

I bought the Cerf because I loved the detachable strap. However, once I bought it and attached it, it was very uncomfortable to use. The bag slants to the side and I felt like the bag was getting wrinkles. I don't know if anyone else felt this though. It could just be me because I'm weird. But the bag is still very good to carry even without the strap. I love it so much. I'm sure you will too. What color are you getting?

You are so lucky! I really wanted the black with GHW, but no SAs at BOTH Hawaii boutiques would want to find one for me. So I had to settle for the black with SHW. Don't let go of your GHW. Hope you enjoy your bag!
