The bbag that got away: which bags did you almost buy but didn't?

sigh, I am mourning the loss of a Choco Work that I missed out on eBay

i mourn a few of those! and a few chocolate 05 cities too..

there is a girl that i see every now and then on my block that has one.. and everytime i see here... it reminds me!

I missed out on an 05 black city last night for $780 . I was waiting for more pics from the seller and someone else bought it. I've been sooo upset all day today, every time I think about it I feel like crying :cry:

I've become a big fan of the Purse style (after it was discontinued, of course). I was just really seriously considering an '05 caramel Purse that was on eBay this week, and didn't bid because I was concerned about the condition. But now I'm thinking I could have just sent it over (or taken it over, since I'm not that far away) to LMB. And who knows when I'll see 05 Caramel again in a Purse...

Aw, I've lost a few lovelies, mostly on e**y.

The one I think about most was a FBF in chocolate. My all time most wanted HG. When she popped up for auction, I died of excitement, and all was going well. Until our internet, being the wonderful bastard that it is, decided to cut out at the usual horribly inopportune time. She ended up going for $808..... $808!
I would have at least gone up to right arm, or first born.
I still think about that one, cause I keep looking for another choco FBF, but haven't found her yet.

A black 2002 FB First from a PF'er for $800, in the last 12 seconds of the auction someone used the 'buy it now.' And why do the bags i always really want seem to crop up at an amazing price when i don't have any money??

A Lilac Courier on a popular auction site that starts with an 'E' and ends with 'bay' that went to someone who made an offer for the same amount that I did but he/she got it instead. (I have no idea why since the offer amount was the same!)

A Lilac Purse on which I got outbid at the last second.

A Camel Coin Purse - outbid.

Lots of other bags...most of the time outbid or I waited to long to figure out whether I should buy it or not. I'm picky and wary of Ebay from all the horror stories I've heard.

i've lost an ink box, that i was so near to buy... but suddely i had e great needing of money and i had to let it go.
but to be honest this is happening to me often. Everytime i see a bag (exp a Bbag) i want i start to think if or if not i hve to buy it or something lke an obsession that i need to buy it, so i let the time go, and bags too

Or which bag did you sell that you alway regret and pine for?

Or did you buy a bbag and decide you didn't like it (leather colour style etc)?

My most recent regret is not getting MarieG's Black '05 First!! it has the smoothest most perfect leather

or about a year ago i missed out on a black and white damask because i thought 600 was too much to spend (i know, i'm CRAZY)

I regret spending way too much above retail for bags that I couldn't touch and see IRL before spending way too much money on them.


I regret selling my sandstone twiggy and my mastic rh city.

I regret selling my blue india coin purse.

I regret obsessing about an AG city, paying gobs of money only to realize that the green was horrid with my blonde hair.

I regret all the $$$ wasted trying to find the right aquamarine city.... never did.

I regret truffle....period.

I regret not buying Nanaz's steel work.

I regret a whole lot ..... but it was all a lot of fun and totally worth it....

I regret not buying a Disney Animation Production Cel back in 1989 on my first visit to Disney World. It would have taken a good chunk of my spending money back then, but today would be priceless. I collect Anime cells from time to time. oops wrong forum

I never regret selling anything, I regret buying too much. I obsess about bags and colors that I shouldn't because they are wrong for me, then I buy them and never wear them.... I think I have way too many accessories.
