What’s the best way of contacting TRR to return a painted bag? Email? Calling? There was no disclosure of the paint so I’m expecting a fight.
Text! "TRR" to 50347, if you're in the USA.

... at least I've found this the simplest way to return/cancel an order.

And then if you could flag the listing to us in the Chat About Finds, so someone else doesn't get duped please! :flowers:

I text/chat MYTRR to the phone number 50437.

And, for the fight? I just send this (after they’ve told me “No”)

“I’m going to need a return and refund. Selling items that are not as described is illegal.

Under the UCC, if the seller makes any promise or provides a description or model relating to the goods, the goods must conform. See UCC § 2-313”

My fastest responses are when I post to social media. I suppose they don’t like their bad business practices put on blast. I recently purchased a very obvious fake bag that they wanted ten days to reevaluate and DECIDE if they were going to issue a refund. I posted daily, sharing photos of the bag, video, explaining why the bag was fake & how inexperienced their “experts” had to be to miss it first time around - it still took them a week, but the refund came faster than the responses to my emails did

FYI — THIS was the bag 😡
That “Mystery Green” City that they recently listed (the one that got put on hold after being sold) had a lot of the same appearances that the bag I received did, which is why I wonder if it was another fake

i’d call. i’ve returned several bags ( not recently though) due to incorrect listings.
Thanks, everyone! I went with texting and they initiated the return. It's not a Bal bag, but I figured you all would have recent insights as to how to deal with TRR. (Just in case there are some Givenchy fans in here, it's a purple nightingale. Link below.)

Ah well, I got rid of them half a year ago when they did not acknowledge the striking difference in the color of the bag I got and I had to send Paypal and Amex after them. I have never got anything decent from them , cheap yes, but not decent, either foul mouldy smell or undisclosed issues.

You are definitely on your own when buying from them, if there is any issue with your purchase. Buyee won't provide a remedy or even act as your intermediary in getting a remedy from the seller. The most they've ever done with great fanfare, as though they're doing me a great favor that I should be grateful for, is refunding me when the seller never even shipped the bag. Big whoop.

But the inventory there is no different than the multiple listings from Japan of the same bag on eBay. The difference is that you have protection on eBay and Buyee doesn't do a damn thing for you. I have bought over 15 fantastic bags on Buyee, which is why I continue to shop there. But I consider all of the purchases as entirely at my own risk. I literally think of it as "is it worth $---- just so I can get a look at this bag?" because that's the only thing I'm guaranteed to get for the money. Each Buyee purchase is a "call" bet I place in poker.

Yes, exactly, I used it with success only for small cheaper trinkets or not so expensive Vivienne Westwood bags , so that I am not sorry if I am not happy with it. But two Bal bags I had to e-sell and the third BV was so misrepresented that I just had enough. I am happy you had these great experiences and when I think of it, I have gotten some small goodies just fine.

... and then some people (me) get banned in a snap and don't get the F/W 04 Marigold First.

Like I still don't understand how my order was deemed suspicious after I paid/gave my credit card details?
