Hi all, I know that the motorcycle bags can be found in various outlets around the world previously. However, it seems like it can no longer be found now or maybe it can only be found in certain outlets in Europe? I was hoping to add another one to my collection and preferably brand new.

You can't find them because they've been discontinued. You can still find some in great shape, sometimes even unused, on the resale market. You may luck into old stock at some store somewhere, but not reliably.

Yes, I know they've been discontinued and they were to be found in outlet stores previously. I can only speak for Asia because I've been to a couple so am wondering if it is still available perhaps in outlet stores in UK (Bicester) or across Europe?

There seems to be so little consensus lately. Best to do a search for listed and more importantly, sold bags, matching your description in several places. That should help you to get a rough idea.

The proliferation of fake hourglass bags on Poshmark is driving me crazy. They're always at the top of the page and you're forced to go through them to see anything else. I don't know why PM allows this obvious organized crime ring to operate on its platform.

Well, I mean, they take a 20% commission on every sale, right? So it's just about the money to them. :annoyed: What pisses me off is the word 'authentic' in some of those listings. People who buy fake bags with their eyes open will know that those are fake based on the prices. Assurances of authenticity are pointless. But some of those buyers who are looking for a real Balenciaga hoping to score some with a good discount because it's been worn a couple times or whatever will certainly fall for it and buy that "AUTHENTIC" crap for $388.

The are two problems with counterfeit. 1. they deceive unwitting buyers, and 2. steal from the brand owner. It's very hard to go after individual sellers of counterfeits. It's like trying to swat a swarm of gnats. It's much easier to go after the big corporate deep pockets of PM, ebay or VC. I can only imagine that Balenciaga hasn't been bothered to go after PM.

I'm shocked, but for the first time in months my Balenciaga bag search did not pull up at the very top of the search 15 fake hourglass bag. In fact, none of these bags shown here are listed on PM right now. Does PM keep an eye on tpf?

Not sure if this is the place for this, but are darkened handles a dealbreaker for you when buying an older bag, especially if it's a lighter bag? I have a few bags on my watchlist, and the handles are all giving me pause.
This is kind of a dealbreaker for me for the same reason you mentioned in your subsequent posts but does anyone know of a way to get rid of the darkening (diy) or do we just take it in for a bag spa?

Also interested to know anyone’s thoughts on handles that have become too soft and kinda stretched out due to use? I see a few really nice bags but handles looked too used and some have fraying and cracks :(
