Beautiful clutches. I don't need the ones I have. YSL, Olympia le Tan, McQueen, Charlotte Olympia, Hermès, Rocio, Nina Ricci... They fit varying degrees of practically nothing, but if a Bottega Veneta Knot came my way (especially at a sale price) it's unlikely I'd back away unscathed.

10+. Totally agree! Like anything else, it's a process. What worked for us in the past doesn't always appeal to us in our present lives. The best analogy I can draw is when I was pregnant with my DD (more than thirty years ago!) There was nothing that tasted better to me then than a tall cold glass of Fresca to wash down chocolate Hostess cupcakes!

Yes!

Mine would be this Vintage Chanel Briefcase

Whenever I go shopping for a handbag, I always try ask myself these 3 questions:

(1) Do I need it?
(2) Can I infuse it to my style?
(3) Am I willing to pay for the price of bag?

And this Chanel briefcase only answered the 3rd question but I still want it so badly.

But "need" is such a strong word :).

I certainly don't need another bag, but as it's summer, and all of my bags are quite practical/sophisticated/versatile, I'm really craving something fun and completely different. Um, anyone want to enable (or not) me here? :). How beautiful is this bag! -- http://www.barneys.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-BNY-Site/default/Product-Show?pid=00505030300422
This beauty (to me at least) that I definitely don't need just went way on sale, and I snatched it up. I love how unusual it is, and I wear a lot of blue, white and purple :). Plus, I've been in love with it for months now. Rationalizations, rationalizations . . .
