The bag/s you're glad you didn't buy?

Didn't buy more jackets while thrifting even thought they were really cute.

Passed on a really nice vintage Coach bag, but I know I'll never wear it.

While at the outlets I passed on clothes I didn't need.
Passed on bags that didn't meet my needs at the Coach outlet even after discovering they are gorgeous in person.

I saw a Balenciaga classic Work in cassis and some really cute Kate Spade wallets at Century 21 today and resisted the urge to buy. Also saw some cute Liebeskind crossbody bags, but I don't need another crossbody as I hardly use the ones I have now.

Definitely out of sight. More specifically I left my single card that I can use to purchase a handbag hidden in my car. I figured if I found a reason to go out and get it, I could mull my decision over during my "walk of shame". Ha :)
That's actually quite brilliant - I've found, if I accidentally left my wallet at home, that by the time I might go back to that store I no longer want the item. Which ought to teach me something, but hasn't -

GREAT idea and thread.

I did not buy:

BV Maxi Veneta or Large Belly (but I will when I find one the right colour)

Hermes Victoria (I can't deal with the handles)

Gucci 58 Heartbeat Print Leather Top-handle (although I did buy RTW in the same print  )

Papertiger
What colour maxi Veneta are you looking for? And have you tried sizes? Maxi over Large is the issue, maxi looks ginormous in the pics, but maybe it's not really?

Yes, I tried sizes, def the Maxi worked best (I liked the Large Belly too).

I'm looking for dark, strong colour (like Billiard or Ink but darker) and not to repeat myself (Nero, Ebony, Pourpre, Steel)

I think more glam IRL, and a bag forever and ever, just once the right colour is found :D

That sounds fantastic! Wish I could try on but we have no BV store in Melbourne...rumour has it that we may later this year, so will hold out. I can't commit without trying on first!

I did not buy a Lanvin Happy bag that I've been eyeing since July last year.
I did not buy a Chanel flap from Cruise '14 despite calling the London boutiques around Christmas like a maniac asking when will they get stock in.

Thank goodness because I should really be saving for a house extension and new kitchen. And since then found out I'm expecting baby number 2.

I'm now eyeing one of Longchamp bags (to be my diaper bag, of course :winkiss:)

We'll see.

Wowza! C:smile1:ngratulations!

Oh yes. And currently biting my fingers to not order online a Bottega Veneta Sloane in new red.

(Great thread, OP).
(And tpf needs a like button)
Thank you - and I do not envy your nail-biting - from what I hear the new BV red is gorgeous!
