Can anyone chime in and let me know if this is normal? Got a favorite mm for Christmas and decided to use today and noticed this padded “bulge” where the magnet is located on the bag (not on flap). When I was filling up my bag, I visually noticed the bulge and thought I stuffed my bag wrong and discovered the bulge to be within the bag. Never noticed this on my previous favorite and am wondering if this always existed or if it’s something new they added. I find it a little bothersome as it changes the shape of the bag when filled the wrong way....not sure i was able to capture it to be seen in pictures.

I filled it pretty flat, so it’s not because I filled it unevenly. It’s just a pad under the magnetic bar strip that is causing the bulge... it’s about 1”x4” padding.

Thanks for the reply! I wonder why they added that in. It almost felt like they had forgotten to take it out upon manufacturing. Lol. Let me know how you’re liking it... or if you even notice it being there. When the bag is empty, I don’t notice at all. However, I find that I have to organize my bag in a certain way or it will create that “dome” shape and sometimes not even close. And the bottom starts to look like a croissant like shape. I feel like I can’t put in as many items as my previous favorite either. I’m contemplating if i should try and find a different one without the padding...

I am joining the club! Apparently the favorite in all colors and fabrics is sold out in the US but I will be waiting until they are back.

Now I just need to decide if I want my favorite MM to be in damier azure or damier ebene. I live in florida so I can wear the azure all year although I dont know if its too white to wear past labor day :/

Hey sweetie I think that’s now considered old school. Wear what you want, when you want.
I have the mono and DE which I recently bought these past couple of months. The stores usually don’t have them in stock so you have to either stalk the site, or call the toll free number so they could try to locate one for you. I just recently bought the DA but I’m bad with light colored bags so I just returned it.

Too bad they didn't exchange that for you - it should so be flat.. had a similar wave in mine and I took it to the store. There was a mono MM online earlier and a few mins later, it was snapped up! lol

I was tempted, but I wanted to check it out in person and see if I like it in person (and if the strap is long enough for crossbody wear on me - 5'8") before buying it.

Hi, I don't have a picture but my daughter uses her Jeanne wallet in her mm and it fits well! Still has her small kirigami and 6 key holder in there as well

Actually I think the strap would be too short for u to wear crossbody. It might sit a little higher.

I'm also 5'8" and yes, the strap is a bit short for my height, so I decided to buy a chain strap from Ebay (as I remember it's approximately 130 cm). After this purchase my Favorite fits me wery well :smile:
