How long did u wait for this bag? Im thinking about to buy a one for my sisster as bday present but i checked several shops in france seems its not all stores always have stock for this item now....

I actually walked in-store and there was one available, which from what I've been reading is very lucky I guess. I live in Brisbane, Australia so it seems crazy to me that stores in France have very low stock!
It’s crazy. It’s always unavailable; however by stalking the site I was able to get both the Favorite MM in DE in Sept. and the mono last week.

Anyone uses Pochette Metis strap with their Favorite PM? I don’t like the Favorite strap but the 16mm shoulder strap that can be bought separately is always out of stock!
So I got a call from my local Louis Vuitton letting me know that they have a Favorite in Monogram which one of their clients didn't want so they called me (although I'm not a regular customer by any means).. So I rushed to the store - wow, what a letdown! The canvas looked so dull/bleak! What happened to it? I remember reading someone else mentioning the same thing. When I turned it down, the young salesperson blurted out - "you are the 3rd person who wanted the Favorite in Monogram and didn't buy this bag upon seeing it, how strange". I looked at the Neverfull in Monogram and the canvas looked quite nice and bright. So not sure if this Favorite was just a one off bag or what..
I found a DE today in the drawer- someone on the W/L declined and the SA forgot there was a W/L and just put it back into inventory. So by being there at the right moment I managed to jump up the list at my store.
Question: do most use this as a shoulder or cross-body? My SA showed me a trick by using the fixed chain to extend the length of the leather strap. It looks nice. I wish LV would provide adjustable straps- I am not heavy and not that tall (5'8") but the strap on the Favorite (without extension) and also on the Boite Chapeau souple look too short and silly crossbody.
