I have PM that is 1 year old and it has the crease
My MM that is 6 months old also started to crease... If it gets worse I'll go to store, if I showed them bags now I think they would say that they don't see the problem, because it's visible when you look at it only at certain angles..
I will add it's unrealistic to think there will be no signs of use. That being said the first version of the Favorite had a defect where both sizes had that horizontal crease above the nameplate. Then after they fixed that it seems the MM has that upper right diagonal crease you can see in many YouTube videos and pictures. I wasn't comfortable keeping the MM with the crease I received especially at the $1k price but the PM is more compact and less floppy and I'm happy with both the ones I received azur and Ebene and the price is more palatable. I had sent back the Mono PM after it was a clear return and they sent me an Ebene strap!! Doh! At the lower price point I'm going to love and use and if there's some signs of use after a bit that's understandable.

You can google "Louis Vuitton date codes" and compare the first two letters of your date code with the list. For example, SD2187 means it was made in San Dimas, CA. Bags made in the USA usually have a tag that says it was made in the USA of imported materials, or something like that.
I may have missed the answer but can someone tell me if this is the first year that the thinner canvas has been used? I just purchased a preloved Favorite Pm in DE and it was made in 2016, wondering if it will have the thinner canvas..hope not!! Thanks!!
I would think so, doesn't have Favorite but Speedy and Neverfull's I have in 2016 were made in much thinner canvas.

After reading this thread of how they thinned the canvas & it creases easily, do you guys think the leather faye is a better purchase over the Favorite in DE? I still like the look of the favourite but..I already have a Faye bag & the Favourite DE is cheaper than the faye bag
