I'm not a fan of vachetta but I do love mono, so instead of the Favorite vachetta strap, I'll use one of my Palm Springs Mini Backpack straps:
And instead of the gold chain, I'll be using my Monogram Metis strap for shoulder-carry:

Yes the crease is obvious. I was able to take mine back after owning it for a year. I could have exchanged it for the same thing or get full store credit. I just bought the Speedy 25 instead because I always wanted that size. The crease seems inevitable for so many people, and I'm pretty sure by now LV has been made well aware of the design flaw.

Thank you so much for the information.......finally I got a favorite MM in DE. I went to 3 LV boutiques in my city, and compared several bags, and got this baby having stronger magnet and proper pleats on the two sides with no visible flaws...but other bags all have some problem this or that..... I also bought a Helene wallet exclusively for my new "favorite"...the helene is so tiny and perfect for Favorite MM...instead, I can also use the empreinte compact curieuse wallet. Love them all but favorite is my real "favorite" at this moment.

I'm happy you reached out to your SA. I hope more people will do that if they experience the same problem. It's a shame to keep the bag in a closet and not use it because of the crease (I think it makes the bag look cheap and ugly) so why not get something you will use, or else give the Favorite another chance and hope the new one doesn't have the same problem. I will say I've heard of people on here who did exchange it for another Favorite and had the same problem. I would be worried about asking for another exchange if it had the same problem, unless the SA said that if you experience the same issue again, they will replace.
I love it, and it's so cute. I can't stop looking at it every time when I use it...

I had owned my monogram favorite for 2 years but hardly wore her due to strap being a little short for my liking at 5 9". I noticed the crease a couple of months ago but only got round to visiting a LV store today. I live in London and the Selfridges sales assistant offered me an exchange immediately on showing her my bag, she allowed me to exchange for the Twice (I had wanted the Metis but they had none). The best news is the return was processed as an exchange at the current price £695 and not the £550 I paid 2 years ago. Very impressed with their customer service
