Congrats on your new bag. I have the exact same one, and it's just gorgeous, but being only 5ft tall the strap is a perfect length for me as a cross body. But thought I would mention that you can still create a longer strap with this bag by making a loop on one side with the gold chain, then attaching the leather strap to the gold chain. For someone taller it could be a perfect length for a cross body :woohoo:
This is what I do. I like the way it looks, showing the gold chain, but the chain is not hanging in the way like it does when it's out and not being used. It makes it a great length for me, or a little on the long side, I'm 5'4".

Yes, it is quite long with the gold chain used as an extender, I guess it's just not a bag that "one size fits all"... But there are other options out there using shorter chains or longer straps if really needed. I've added a photo for others to see how it's done using the gold chain as an extender

I love this!

I just bought a Favorite PM yesterday. I'm crossing my fingers and toes that no crease appears.

I'm definitely going to try this out until I get a new strap. Since I love how the gold chain hangs in the front of the bag, I won't want to carry it too long with it looped to the leather strap.

Thank you, devinedesigns, for the congrats & pics[emoji5][emoji5][emoji5]

Yikes I was going to get a Favorite MM in DE this weekend and after seeing the issues with the crease I may hold off. Paying $985 plus tax is insane if this is what happens.

It didn't seem like a widespread issue to me plus there's a ton of different things that need to be taken into account (when the bag was produced, what country it's made in, individual use, etc.). I love my bag & I must say its one of my favorite (no pun intended lol) LV purchases to date.

Thanks so what year and place should I avoid?

Not particularly sure but I can say mine and my coworker's (she talked me into getting one) are fine. I bought mine a few weeks ago (carried everyday since) and she's had hers since late 2014....both Made in USA. I'm not that person that searches for MIF. As long as the quality is good, I'm perfectly fine with it. I lucked up & haven't had any issues with any of my LV pieces.

Mine is creasing and I've only had it since November. Hardly have carried it. It's DE MM. I was told its "normal wear and tear". What??? They told me to put a heavy book on it to see if that helps. [emoji15]
My daughters Kate Spade and Michael Kors bags have better CS than LV. Both have a full one year warranty and they stand behind their products. How is it normal wear and tear when it was used maybe 5 times? I would avoid this bag if I were you.

I went with the DE Pouchette instead and getting cute gold chains to use crossbody...

That crease u guys see on the inside flap is normal. Mine has it too. I saw the ones in the store also had it. Don't worry and enjoy ur bags. If anything happens take it to the store and I'm sure they will help

My crease is on the outside like its warped. They wouldn't help me. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
