I went to my LV store in CA to ask one of the SA today regarding free plate replacement and she told me there is no such thing. If you have a scratch on the plate that is consider wear and tear and have to pay for the replacement. I called and spoke to another SA and both confirmed there is no free replacement. So, you have a very nice SA that is willing to not charge. Can others confirm as well? Maybe only in specific locations? Thanks!

It turns out, I really don't. If you're able to, you should really try both sizes at the boutique. Maybe bring a full size and compact wallet, and put your things inside to see which works best for you. Good luck with your decision!

Thank you Myusername! Ok so I did it...your modeling shots convinced me to get the PM as well! I got a great deal on a preloved Mono PM in like new condition! Should arrive in a few days! Definitely keeping my MM though 😊

I also asked two SAs here in CA about this, and both said it was not free.

That's confusing! When I dropped off my Favorite my SA wasn't working. Another SA helped me & she also didn't know. I let her know what my SA had told me & she went to the back & got confirmation. My SA did mention this was new so may be not everyone knows about it? May be others can confirm? Not sure if 1800# can help? Hope you're able to replace it soon. Keep us posted.

So, now I'm not sure if my next piece will be An Azur MM (this would be my first Azur piece) or a Turenne PM or MM (my first LV satchel )?! 🙈🙉🙊
I do not have any Azur pieces yet because one, I'm afraid like most of color transfer (love my jeans and Jean shorts! ☺) and I personally do not like the look of the darkened patina of the leather especially against Azur. Although, some of u ladies might! :) And I purchased and then returned a Turenne MM already. I was so afraid of using and getting dingy looking handles from use as a satchel! Yes, I know that takes a long time and a lot of use! I don't see any of my handbags ever getting like that because I baby them, then again a satchel would be different bc I would wear on the crook of my arm!
I also considered a Speedy B 30 DE but my husband says something about it is a no go on me?! Lol Um, ok?!
I have always loved the Artsy , but I feel maybe it will be too over powering on my frame ! 5'2 125 I will try to post pics but I'm still new to TPF so I may not be able to yet?!

Any input from you ladies would be great! Thanks in advance!

I don't know. My SA in Tysons Corner VA has confirmed it is free of charge as well.

Here in Singapore I asked my SA and she confirmed it Yes, free replacement of the gold plate.[emoji4]She said how come I know? I said from the Purse Forum.[emoji1]

Thanks for confirming! Maybe Singapore has a nicer replacement policy than in the USA. Anyone in the USA got free plate replacements? If so please specify which city, state. Thanks again!
