YAY!! I'm back from the store with my first ever Louis Vuitton!!! 
Thanks to everyone's suggestions, I went in the store fully prepared to purchase a Speedy 30 Mono (and some accessories that fit in my budget, I might add)! But... when I asked the SA (nicest person ever, by the way) for their speedys, he showed me the White MC, and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! 
So I ended up buying the MC Speedy, and completely forgetting about the Chanel purchase I had planned, I also waitlisted myself for a Speedy in Azur. It's my most expensive impulse buy... but it's completely worth it! I'm already starting to save up for a Speedy in Mono too! 
I've been trying to find the date code for it though for the past hour, and am sooo scared I'll tear the inner pocket or something (that's where I tried to look). My inside pocket doesn't flip up, so I'm not sure where it would be?
