I will be traveling to Dallas form out of town in a few weeks. Could someone reccommend a good SA in the Dallas store? It would be great if I could get an email so I could interact with them before I arrive.

Thanks

Did anyone purchase the limited edition scarf from the Dallas reopening? I had my father pick me up one since I'm out of State so I'm anxious to see the colors.

Ug. I went today. They had it on display. Same print as Houston but I think it was blues and greens...sorry I don't remember clearly! Inventory is good. I'm on ban island and may regret passing on some stuff but did get a mini Evelyn with a bi-color strap.. And a rodeo charm. Store is gorgeous.

Blues and greens? Ugh! I think I would have liked the turquoise Houston one better! I was told black and white but this was a couple weeks ago. Enjoy your mini Evelyn and rodeo charm! I wish I would have thought to ask my father to look for a charm!

At long last, the new Houston, Texas, Hermes is open!!! :yahoo:

I was quite surprised but delighted to discover there IS a special scarf for the new offering. Not the Kermit Oliver designed Kleberg Conservation scarf that I discussed here, but a reissue of Oliver’s Faune et Flore du Texas in a 70cm turquoise color way with a special banner that reads Houston 2015! I admit I was never much a fan of this design, but no way could I say no to this and the turquoise is beautiful.

I really like this color way and was so tempted to get this. I had my father make the errand for me to purchase the Dallas scarf yesterday sight unseen because I'm out of State. I had thought it was going to be black with browns, but after hunting down a picture (which I should have done beforehand) I like the Houston colors better.

Do you happen to remember what they charged at Houston for the scarf? The Dallas one was $340 which surprised be because I thought they were $300 for this size. Maybe because it's limited it is priced a bit higher. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1448232578.303921.jpg

It was $340 in Houston as well

Thanks. Glad to hear they were priced the same. It's hard to tell if I'll like the Dallas color way since I haven't seen it yet. (Will be in Dallas for my daughter's graduation in a couple weeks and can pick this up from my father then). But just from pictures, I'm more drawn to the turquoise and tans than the vivid green against the black. Since I bought it, I'm hoping I'll like it in person!

Uh oh, I was hoping to just get the Houston scarf and not the Dallas, but I love all those bright colors!

When I bought the Houston scarf I was told it was extra because it is a special edition - first time that I am aware of H doing that.

Thanks for posting the pic!!

I wasn't aware of them raising the price either. Thanks for the info.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one considering purchasing both! I knew I had to get the Dallas version for sentimental reasons, but I'm really drawn to the Houston color way.

It's good to know you have a positive opinion about the Dallas color way. I think it's pretty but I'm not used to wearing brights. I wanted to mention I'm not 100% positive the picture is the accurate CW but the article I got it from had a picture of the Houston scarf and the Dallas scarf. The Houston one ended up being just like the picture so I'm guessing the Dallas is the same as well. I told my father to leave it all wrapped up and in the box so I can be the first one to open it and be surprised. It's hard not to ask him to just open it up already and take a picture of it for me!! Lol!!

Below is the link where I found pictures of both versions.

Wow I didn't realize there's a "fuchsia" border. I think it looks really nice! Can't wait to see you model it.
