In the front of the store they have out the scarves, bracelets, ties and small leather goods. In the back of the room they have a small glass cabinet with handbags and a few racks of Hermes clothing. (They have no more than 9 handbags out on the floor at any given time and none of them of Birkins.) The manager is named Cici and the SAs I know are named Lauren, Lori and "Queen" (You pronounce her name like "queen"; I'm just not sure how her Vietnamese name is correctly spelled.) Personally, I think the friendliest, most down-to-earth (i.e., not howty-towty), sweetest SA is Lori (who by the way, isn't considered my SA since I made numerous purchases from another SA and despite my inclination to "switch", am unsure of the protocol for "divorcing" your own SA.)

I live in Houston and the Houston Hermes store is literally within walking distance from my house...(What is it they say about moths to a flame?)

I Agree, Laurie is the sweetest SA there and I was lucky to get her as my sales associate. She has been a dream to work with and never pushes us to buy something unless we just love it. And yes, I bought my first Birkin from her.

If you frequent the Texas stores, you know both are in the throes of remodeling (Dallas) or changing location (Houston). Perhaps this might be a good place to centralize news about the upcoming festivities surrounding the reopenings?

Another poster - forgive me for not remembering who- has already mentioned Houston will have a Kermit Oliver scarf for their reopening.

Dallas is planning to be open in their new space on November 20.

Dallas will be reopening in their previous location, in HPV, remodeled and with additional space.

Houston will be in a new location, about a mile from the current store. They are going to a new center being constructed on Westheimer.

Houston store will have the turkey scarf in 70cm in turquoise color combo. Dallas will have turkey as well but in different color way.
Would love to visit the new store!

Good afternoon, all - an update on Houston today. Previous info indicated the Houston Pavillion store would close this week ( October 8) and reopen in the new location next week. Things change! The Pavillion store will be open all week this week, and the definitive close/reopen date is fluid.

Again, verified the opening scarf for Houston is a 70 Kermit Oliver 'turkey' in turquoise.
