Yes that’s been my experience also. I ordered my hubby some Chypre that don’t fit at all although I sized up a full size. I haven’t taken them back yet lol because I had to exchange my Destin’s loafers a few weeks back.

They always have fashion jewelry and scarves galore lol

My SA told me the section where the baby goods and homewares are is normally where they would put the bags but they don’t have any. I’m guessing “they don’t have any” means the bags that they do get have all been accounted for and they don’t have any extras to put out.

I’ve definitely seen her more than once with several bags in her hand taking them to the back room by the ties on the first floor.

What constance specs are you looking for? Hopefully you get one soon!

The Dallas store does not have a ton of stock either. There are 1-2 bags on display but those bags have been there for a while.

They are constantly getting quota bags in stock. My SA put my name down for B/Ks in July, August, and September, so they are coming in, but I think they get 10-12 per month give or take.

I finally got an offer, Kelly 28 Sellier Touch (Epsom leather, Noir), but it took a couple months of active requests from my SA.

I also get most of my items sourced or ordered in for me!

Thank you for sharing! Glad to hear it’s similar in Dallas! 10-12 a month seems fairly low! I wonder if Houston is the same! :shocked:

ETA: congrats on your touch! I gave my wishlist back in June and have gotten a constance. I am hoping for a B before the end of the year! *fingers crossed*

I want the 24" Constance. I think I want a black with GHW. I need to tell my SA. We were initially thinking a pop of color. But I need a black crossbody. Although the assistant SM said they really don't work crossbody. Maybe just not on MY body. Lol. But she did say, "Don't worry. We'll get you one." She's not even my SA, but she's really cool and I always chit chat with her while I wait on my SA.

There are absolutely no bags on the floor in Houston. They are all in the back. I've come to the conclusion, if the store/SA likes you, they have bags regardless of spend, IF they have the stock. At least in Houston. The ASM literally told me "you get offered bags because you don't ask for them." I love quota bags, but I'm in no hurry to spend 15k on a purse.

BTW, I love the Destin loafer. My favorite loafer as far as comfort. I just snagged the Chypre on line. The sizing is so weird. But so is my foot. lol.

I have read the 24 doesn’t work crossbody on anyone lol. It seems like it would be trying to wear Chanel medium cf crossbody (that’s my only reference point for now) but I’m not too sure. Hopefully you get one soon! I hear you on the qb prices lol. It’s not like that 9k+ on a 18 was that great either lol. At least the wait gives us time to prepare.

I have a black/gold Chanel 19 that I wear crossbody and want a black/rose gold 24 but I really don’t think I need another black/gold combo ugh!

I really like the destin so far! I’m still trying to find a loafer that fits me like the round toe Gucci marmont loafers!

I really need to stay in the store longer than I do. My SA knows that when I’m driving in from Katy I’m really only making a quick pit stop to pick up whatever she has for me and I’m out! :lol:

Girl, now you got me re-thinking the Constance in black. I have the black/gold Chanel 19 too and wear it cross body sometimes. But I wanted something more casual and flatter. So it sounds like I'd have to get the Constance 18? I feel like that may be too small on my frame?

I just recently got the new Interlocking G Gucci mules. Love them so much. I much prefer a mule. I also picked up the Gucci Blondie (Monogram) which is a great crossbody. I'm tempted to get that in black for less than half the price of the Constance.

:lol: They really are two *very* different bags, honestly! I think you can get away with getting the constance because it’s structured vs the 19 being smoosh/slouchy! The 18 strap seems to be just a little longer than the c19 strap. I personally can’t justify another black/gold flap because what I failed to mention was I also have a Gucci marmont and ysl envelope as well as the 19 all in black/gold lol. I’ve been talking myself out of getting the black/black Gucci marmont camera but it’s so nice and I like different interior!

I personally don’t think the size of the constance 18 would be an issue for you. It’s not *that* much smaller than the 24. It’s only a two inch difference length wise. Too bad we can’t just go to the store and try them on lol.

I was actually trying to find some info this am about the strap on the Constance 1 24 to see if the strap is longer than the old 24. I want the option to wear it crossbody also! I haven’t found anything just yet. If I do find a good video comparing I will post it here. I added some pics of my constance and 19 for you to see how different they are!

First, love love love that color!!! Is that Mauve Sylvester? I think I want it!!! Lol. Every time I see color on an Hermes bag, I fall in love a little more. You're right, though. C18 and Chanel are totally different bags. I've heard the C18's strap is longer than the C24 and that's why it can be worn crossbody. Thank you for the pictures. So helpful! The C18 looks like a good size.

Funny you mentioned the YSL Envelope. I sold mine. I just wasn't reaching for it enough. It's very much an office purse for me and I don't go into the office as much as I used to. But such a beautiful bag. I actually only have two black bags: the 19 (my favorite Chanel bag) and the Fendi First. So I think there's a place for the Constance in Black in my closet. Although I still want a Kelly sellier in black with GHW. I don't need both. But there's not another neutral color I want in the Constance. I have a Gold B30 on my wishlist. Just recently added that one. And I don't want Nata/Craie in a cross body. Too worried about color transfer. Look at me...talking like I can just walk in and buy any of these bags. Lol. Let me sit down somewhere.

I had texted my SA that I really wanted one and showed a real of all these mini Constance in different pop colors. Sooo cute. Have honestly been wanting one because I also wanted a cross body. The strap is perfect for my short height. Im
5’4. I wanted for traveling and to be able to put my essentials as well as my meds. It’s perfect! Blue electric with GHW - chèvre. To die for!
