Has anyone had any experience with Dinair airbrush makeup? I know this is off subject, but I didn't want to start a new thread!

I am thinking about getting my makeup airbrushed for my outdoor wedding in Vegas in September. I'm leaning towards Dinair because I heard it stays on all day and is sweat proof. I KNOW I will be sweating, and I don't want my makeup to look awful for pictures. My MAC studio fix fluid only last so long and is definitely not sweat proof.

Anyways, I'm thinking of ordering a sample from their website just to try out the coverage and consistency of the foundation. I really hope it last all day and gives good coverage.

Any information is appreciated! :smile1:

im thinking of getting this but i'm still undecided between this and the Dinair.

anybody else have any more feedback about either one of these? i would appreciate it very much!

i lvoe love love this! i will do some before and after pics this weekend.. ive found mixing it up is best.. but i will show you what i do.. ( not great at it..) but works for me hehehehe

I bought this last year when it first came out! To be honest, I really do love it but my technique is not the best and I am pretty good at putting on makeup... I think it gets better with practice. Mine is too heavy in spots. ALso you need to protect your hairline with a headband!!!! Please! THe first time I used, I didn't know this, and I had a beige hairline!
It is a lot on the front end but and the pods are not cheap, however, they do last for quite a while because you don't waste a lot like you do with other foundations. I usually only use for special occasions or if I have time that I can get it out. Declog the pods. Plug it in. Wrap hairline up perfectly. Stand on towel. Put towel on marble counter because it is messy... But end result is so worth it! YOu will love it! ALso buy in person the colors because sephora staff really matches well.

I, too, love all the different kinds of foundation like Armani, Bobbi Brown, MAC, etc. and I love applying it with a brush. But I think I will be getting this to use only during the summertime when I want that lightweight airbrushed, foundation look. I'm definitely still going to use liquid foundations and stuff, but I think I'll be getting this as well because it seems like it'd be great for summertime, and I'm pretty much a beauty junkie.

Irked to find out today that Temptu is being discontinued from Sephora stores and Sephora.com.

Not sure I would have bought the system if I'd have known it wasn't going to be available other than mail order.

Well sadly im writing this because i never even recieved my temptu. The customer service is horrible. They sent me the wrong tracking number (i live in wisconsin, they sent me one for someone in brooklyn), anyways ive been calling and emailing all week to get someone to reship the order or find my order somewhere... well im giving them till tomorrow to give me a new tracking number or im canceling my full order which was around $400 of stuff since i wanted to try this out... When i called customer service the first time the girl took my name, number and order number and stated they would call me back that day with a new tracking number and apologized... Okay.. no call back i email later that evening, i get an email saying theyll get back to me with a tracking number... another couple days pass no contact from anyone.... When i called the "customer service" the 2nd time the person who answer said she cant access the tracking numbers? Um what?? Your customer service isnt that part if you job??? She told me the only person who can access it is the one person who replied to my email. Well we are going on now alittle over a week since i ordered and well i guess my supposed order is sitting in brooklyn...
Im really disappointed with this company. If ive ever had a company accidently send my product else where when i call to say um this isnt right they reship the product that day to me usually rush becuase it was THIER mistake not mine. i dont think i will EVER buy from them again. I may just send the temptu back as soon as i do get it IF i ever get it, which at this point im doubting ill get... Anyone else have issues with this company?? I wish sephora still carried it... :( :(
