I got interested about the time that paradiso, inferno came out and there was still some foresta around. My friend said, oooo you have to come and see this. So we went to the mall and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!

My friend asked me if I would go with her to the Simone Legno signing in San Francisco...I had seen some of the bags but wasn't too interested. So we went to the signing...I got excited off all the buzz and bought a foresta Gioco (this was when Foresta and Citta was just released). Got it signed and got pictures with him. I loved my bag...but didn't really get tokidoki obsessed till later when pirata came out and I discovered the outlets lol

i first saw toki on one of my friends and told her it was sooo cute, but didn't think of it again. then i was searching online at macys a few months ago and spotted l'amore. i'm all about love and fell in love with the print. i had my husband redeem our credit card points and scored a l'amore campeggio from bloomies. he thought it was too 'loud' but i use it as a diaper bag. for the first week everytime i looked at the bag i noticed something cute on it i hadn't before and i still gaze at it....

have gotten a few more pieces since tho seems like nothing in comparison with you guys. looking to add more, i just  it!!!

I loved reading everyone's stories! Here's mine:

I first saw tokidoki in Santa Cruz [where I attend the University], while I was riding the bus. One girl got on with the CUTEST bag that I immediately fell in love with! I think I must've freaked her out a little bit when I grabbed her bag, shoved it close to my face, and oooed and ahhed as if it were dazzling engagement ring encrusted with sparkling jewels. She was pretty pleased with my reaction, though, and told me the name of it before I had to hop off the bus - but I couldn't remember 'tokidoki' to save my life! Now I'll NEVER forget the name.

I work at Disneyland, and I see sooo many guests walking around with a purse - a Spiaggia, I think. The first time I was able to, I stopped one of the guests and asked her [politely] who made it [or where she got it from], and she very kindly wrote down the brand name for me. Now, in Downtown Disney, there is this crazy trendy little shop called Vault 28. I decided to check them out after my shift, hoping against hope that they carried tokidoki. No purses there, but they often got in shipments of the shirts and hoodies AND because I work at the resort, I got a 20% discount off of all of my purchases! WOOT!

From the Vault I've picked up the Moofia/Latte short-sleeved hoodie and the light blue Latte/Leche/Mocha shirt. I love them.

I only have one tokidoki bag [that is SO going to change]. Struggling student life, you know? I got it from a Macy's in San Diego. I only went to LOOK, I swear, but the Pirata gioco was marked off by 25% because it was a discontinued print. Trust me, I stood there for at least 30 minutes debating with myself and checking it over for any signs of damage. It was discounted because it was only one of two left. ^_^ Anyway, I decided to open up a Macy's account - I needed one anyway to build up good credit, and they always offer 15% off your purchase when you open a new account. It was ALSO red star weekend [a Macy's promotion for account-holders], so that brought on an extra 15%. When I got the bill, it turns out that I received another 15% off because they were having ANOTHER promotion for opening a new account. I was so juiced! I know I probably won't catch a deal like that EVER again, but it was a great way to kick off my collection. I ended up getting the $160.00 gioco for $67.00 and some change. How's that for smart shopping, mom?

I have lists now of every print I like and every bag style I like, and now everyone that knows me knows exactly what I'd like for my birthday and Christmas. XD I've also put them all up on game about spotting fake bags on ebay and in stores [thanks to the tokidokiblog].

I'm hooked. I'm so happy.

I found tPF while I was researching LV bags and for awhile I was only on the LV boards. But one day, I decided to look in the tokidoki forum and chanel forum and since then, I've been obsessed with even more bags! The first bag that I found in stores was the Pirata print in April or so. That's when I think I first came onto this board and got obsessed about toki. I wish I had learned about tokidoki much earlier!

I discovered Tokidoki from a yahoo group for diaper bags. It was on the cover of the groups homepage and was like hey that's really cute. Found out it was by Lesportsac and was hit with sticker shock. I did already own a LAMB Lesportsac and was reminded of how I liked the fabric (lightweight and durable). It took me a good 3 months to bit the bullet and buy one. If my budget allows it I will hopefully get more than my one. But at least I got the one I like most for now...a Buon Viaggio in Paradiso. I am quite excited for the Vacanze print and I do love Foresta...even the Arcania...I love monkeys (my son's room is all Paul Frank with Julius and Friends) and I love orange too...but alas Foresta is hard to find. The bummer is that in the burbs no stores carry Tokidokis, so I can't sneak them into the house if you know what I mean. Darn!!

O.k., I'll bite. I wanted to purchase a nice purse. I really wanted an Isabella Fiore purse........but it was about $600.
So I came to a designer inspired online site. I was looking around and I found the designer inspired purses caled "okie dokie" They were so cute! And I was real close to buying one........but I re-searched some more and man am I glad I found this website! Everyone here....(unknowingly of course) steered me in the right direction

I saw the OP at my Macy's when it was first in stores, my mom told me to wait until it went on sale because that was how I got my LAMB bag ($10!), but it never did, and I had forgotten about Tokidoki until I saw Foresta in a different Macy's, I was in love! Just not with the price, but then in January, my mom had to return my Betsey Johnson jewelery that I got for my birthday because it broke the first time I wore the pieces, so she got me my Pirata zucca after returning them! Its been downhill ever since I re-discovered tPF about a month ago, 'cause then I found the LJ community which has helped me learn a lot more about the prints, and of course I see bags that I want to buy, lol.

I was on my way out of the SCP Nordstrom when a wall display caught my eye--colorful cartoons on bags! I had to get a closer look and was surprised to discover qees hanging off of them. I'd been collecting qees for a while and the bear qee was just too adorable (although now I'm sort of tired of them since they came on EVERY SINGLE bag until the recent ones). I also loved the characters and illustrative style. After a couple minutes of comtemplation (mostly because of the high price), a tan PG bella bella came home with me that day.

My friend showed me a picture of a Spiaggia bag. and i was like EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

yup really. because it had the girl on it... and it was colorful and i thought it was too chaotic...

but then..... i was at at Anime Expo for a concert and i saw people with little baggies that werent so weird looking (sorry spiaggia lovers) and i googled it... found the inferno bag and i loved it :D

On a rainy afternoon in downtown Soho - stood infront of LeSportsac boutique for shelter and saw a colorful display of Tokidoki bags (OP) and bought them on impulse!
